Call me a retard but I honestly believe Chibnall has saved Doctor Who's legacy.
So in Series 10 the show was clearly turning for the worst. You'd get black lesbian companions, lines like "We can only hope the future is all girl." and "so was Jesus, history is a whitewash", the doctor punching racists like a proud antifa member, and (in)famously the 1st doctor being portrayed as some sort of regressive pariah that the audience should despise.
Now, Chris saw all this. He saw that nobody wanted to take over this sinking ship and he decided to take over on the condition that his doctor could be a woman. Chris then deliberately made the show ludicrously progressive, gay pregnancies, climate change sermons, gay astronauts, black female doctors, the doctor was born a black female child refugee, he's making it as obnoxious and toxic as possible to kill the show, so that it's no longer considered the same show. But more importantly there is a CLEAR cut off point where the show stops being Doctor Who.
Chris had the choice of watching his childhood show slowly little by little be chipped away (like we saw in part in series 10) or putting it down humanely when it was in its prime. He chose the latter.
Chris Chibnall didn't "kill" Doctor Who. He euthanized it.
Just look at the fucking physical state of this ''man.'' Look at him, or whatever the fuck it really is. Look at his own hair trying to escape his wicked expunging head. You know it's fucking bad when your ideas are so bad, you're hair gains sentience from the sheer terror of your stupidity and recklessness to destroy a beloved show that is ejects it's owners head like a pilot from a descending failing plane, in order to save some amount of dignity from a lost cause.

just a reminder, a cosmic horror audio story featuring the 6th doctor is coming this june and the cover looks sick. (it's even called "the lovecraft invasion"
thanks, the different graphics threw me. i stopped listening to them a while ago. I've been meaning to get back into them.
Gabriel Cruz
yeah ever since the begining of series 11 end big finish began to use that logo, i kinda miss the McGann logo but idk the new logo just fits on that cover so well.
Brandon Reed
would love to have Grant audios from big finish set on this universe, and then a crossover with McGann, the first actual interdimensional crossover on doctor who history.
Christian Fisher
post your opinions, unpopular or not, no matter how retarded they are
im sorry the alternate was seeing that thread dying at birth and i don't wanna see that ever again.
Joshua Martin
I would just love more Alternate Doctors stories period.
Adam Long
the doctor fucks quite often, or at least he would if not for it being a family show
Brayden Walker
The timeless child stuff is nothing but a momentary setback, the show is neither dead, nor ruined forever. It'll all blow over and we will laugh at how fussy we got.
Chase Cooper
no matter if it end ups being shit, it will still be better than anything chibs has put out since 2018.
Jack Johnson
My problem is how long will the wait be till BBC has some competent people behind the show. Because in order for the show to reverse it's current course, it has to change a lot of the people behind it.
Nicholas Jackson
The Female Doctor is not a bad idea itself. However, it needed someone who wouldn't force identity politics and a very good actor to pull it off. And a decent explanation as to why the gender changed
Adrian Sanders
>decide to check out big finish >look up their site >it's 3 bucks a story >that's not bad, might as well buy them >turns out it's only the old stories, the new ones cost upwards of 12 bucks Well, I tried. A pirate's life it is.
I'll always be happy that Doctor who introduced me to a completely underrated form of media. And I do think there is one American audio drama company, Graphic Audio. Although those are more just audio books with a full cast
Justin Bennett
Haha nice try Chris
Landon Watson
just ended listening to pic related.
I must say im impressed they tried to pass the sontarans as a "new monster" but I still quite like the story a lot. The 6th doctor being the best to me, the 7th the worst and 5th on the same level as 8th which is pretty good
Schezo without fucking question is the most abstract one they've done so far. Just the Doctor and Charley in a literal void for 2 hours, shit is a fucked up but enjoyable trip
12 was romantic too, but both he and clara were too autistic to get to that before she died
Thomas Murphy
RTD and Moffat >clever >entertaining >well-written characters and dialogue >Doctors and companions have personality >makes you laugh, cry, and think >knows how to get you hyped
Chibnall >mundane >boring >poorly-written characters and dialogue >Doctor and companions have no personality >makes you yawn >doesn't get you hyped
Oliver Hughes
>he didn't watch mummy on the orient express or last christmas
Ethan Stewart
there's this one which is completely free on soundcloud
>The Moment is psychotic and gets off to slaughter of untold gorillions
Joseph Myers
I don't want Tuggo.
Parker Murphy
>First see the Master via Nuwho, think the Drums is a major part of his character and backstory >Not a single audioplay has mentioned it hinting to it not being a thing in old who So what the fuck was that detail anyways? Was it just that specific regeneration? A retcon? Just something RTD thought was cool?
Jacob Adams
finally i have been wating this moment for so long, the doctor vs Cthulhu a battle we will never see.
This is similar to that deluded argument I see for Rian Johnson ruining Star Wars.
David Ramirez
davidson was already a poorly crooped doctor on his intro, why is he not on this?
Adam Butler
I've only listened to one of his own series so far, but in all other plays he shows up in there isn't one mention. Hell even when that specific Regeneration of the Master came back, there was nothing about it. He just didn't give a shit about it anymore.
Jackson Gray
>Day of the Doctor novel >written 'live' >interludes with 11 between Chapters >chapters are all presented nonsequentially >chapter 9 is hyped up several times as being spooky and wild >involves memory proofing where you forget you read it >no chapter 9 at all OF COURSE also >War Doctor thinks 10 and 11 are twelve-year-olds at first, Harry Potters playing with magic wands lol
