Are we all ready to admit this was, and still is, the best Bond film? Search deep within yourself, you know it to be true.

Yes, this too was the first 007 movie I was old enough to see.
It's not even as good as License to Kill
Prior to seeing License to Kill I probably would have agreed with you, but now....
Same user. What year were you born in?
Not him but 1990 and the N64 game got me interested, many such cases
More like Pam BOOBvier
It's mid tier, arguably top 10 but definitely not the best. 90s were the beginning of feminizing Bond and making him more PC.
the 1st bond movie made by each actor is always kino
dr no
live and let die
living daylights
goldeneye
casino royale
At the very least, it was the last one that was great. Every Bond film since has been decent at very best.
And it's the same two shitty writers who've been working on them since.
live and let die was pretty awful, moore got better with age
Nah it's damn good but Golden Gun was better. I love all of his movies though even Moonraker and A View to a Kill. His run is the most pure fun and rewatchable
Yeah I love goldeneye but it was chock full of "its the 90's now" tier cringe.
>Craig
>Bond
Pick one, his movies are nihilistic cynical shit that's going to seem as dated in 20 years as Connery era Bond does now, but not in a good way
True. Moore is objectively the best Bond.
I've said that for ages
Octopussy is peak Moore. A View seems a bit underrated. Max Zorin is a top 5 villain easily.
>that smile as he and his henchman massacre their own employees with submachine guns
>When he realizes he's about to die from falling off the golden gate bridge he laughs at the absurdity of it
kino
>Octopussy is peak Moore
based
The N64 game was my favorite, and I probably spent at least a thousand hours playing it when I was a kid.
Yet I've never seen the movie.
1.Goldfinger
2.Thunderball
3.Goldeneye
4.Dr. No
5.The Man With The Golden Gun
6.License To Kill
7.Moonraker
8.Live and Let Die
9.The Living Daylights
10.Casino Royale
11.From Russia With Love
12.You Only Live Twice
13.Skyfall
14.The Spy Who Loved Me
15.Diamonds Are Forever
16.Tomorrow Never Dies
17.A View To Kill
18.For Your Eyes Only
19.OHMSS
20.Octopussy
21.Never Say Never Again
22.Spectre
23.Quantum of Solace
24.The World Is Not Enough
25.Die Another Day
>Casino Royale above From Russia and Love and The Spy Who Loved Me
"No!"
Post top 5 Bond songs. Movie quality irrelevant.
1. Goldeneye
2. For Your Eyes Only
3. A View to a Kill
4. Live and Let Die
5. The World is Not Enough
starts off fine then falls of a cliff once you get to Skyfall. 4/10
It's pretty good.
No
Nobody Does it Better
A View to a Kill
For Your Eyes Only
Live and Let Die
Licence to Kill
Moore's Bond was by far the best for music. Even his worst themes are mid tier
AVTAK is clearly the best, also where is Diamonds Are Forever?
yup goat
fpbp
doctor No
Goldfinger is overrated, second half of the film is Bond doing nothing and just letting the villains push him around like a fucking child
the dialogue and story are so good though
Solidly in #6.
fpbp, it's a good movie but fuck nostalgiashitters
True, but part of the appeal of the series is seeing Bond kill/fuck/beat/talk his way through everything, and him has a prisoner who has anima for half the movie gets kinda boring. Not saying it isn't a good Bond film, it definitely is, but I can't say it's the best by any means. The dialogue in From Russia with Love and Thunderball are just as good
yeah you're a zoomer retard
I'm a millennial and I love Connery and Moore, go fuck yourself. Everyone worships Goldfinger just because it's iconic. God forbid I have a differing opinion
Thunderball is objectively the best Bond movie. As for Brosnan, he's objectively the worst Bond.
For me it's Thunderball
>As for Brosnan, he's objectively the worst Bond
Maybe if you don't consider Craig to or even be Bond. Which is correct
Truth, Craig is just the British Jack Bauer
But what are the five worst themes? For me it's
Die Another Day
Another Way to Die
No Time to Die
Writing's on the Wall
All Time High
god i fucking hate nuBond
Goldeneye
License to Kill
For Your Eyes Only
Live and Let Die
Nobody Does It Better
All Time High grows on you, helps that the credits sequence is the most lewd of all of them
It's not an awful song but it feels incomplete. The lyrics all just sound like filler, sung well but saying nothing
It has that cheesy early eighties chorus that is fun to sing along with, no reason to hate it and one of Maurice Binder's best work
Yeah and then he kills them all afterwards. The fuck is your point? That he should have done it sooner? Boring-ass motherfucker.
My point is he should have been an active participant and not "Oh, okay I'll go over there" faggot who has no anima. When the protagonist is not the main actor of the story, it makes the proceedings quite dull
Post underrated Bond villains
>Fire one missile at the flagship of each fleet. The Chinese will think the British are rattling the saber. The British will think the Chinese are being belligerent. And the media will provide cool, objective coverage. Let the mayhem begin.
>live and let die was pretty awful
cringe
When the protagonist is not the main actor of the story, it makes the proceedings quite dull
Eh fair point, Goldfingers my favorite bad guy so I guess it didn't bother me, seeing more of him.
>And the media will provide cool, objective coverage.
was it sarcasm?
>Had four different opportunities to kill James Bond
>He's now killed every minion, every soldier, ruined your plans
>Would still rather talk than just kill the fucker
Carter was a goddamn retard
Not even the best brosnan movie
Oh boy I can't wait to hear your meme opinion. Let me guess, The World is not Enough?
It was actually legally mandated at the time.
Kamal Khan and his giant Indian henchman
Die Another Day is my favorite Brosnan movie. Nobody will believe me, but it's the only one that's actually fun to watch and isn't a ball of 90's cringe.
>No living daylights
shame shame we know your name
The distance between insanity and genius is measured only by success.
Overall it's bad, but the hovercraft sequence, sword fight and car duel are excellent action sequences.
1.Chickenfinger
2.Thunderthighs
3.Golden Ice Cream
4.Dr. Ho-Ho
5.The Girl With The Golden Gut
