I have an idea for a series arch that can explain away the Timeless Child
>Doctor meets some random human woman on Earth who claims to be her Mother
>Doctor doesn't seems to recall her but does find her familiar
>Does some timey wimey test that reveals she is, biologically, The Doctor's Mother
>Has memories suddenly of being half-human
>but she's also full Time Lord
>And she's also The Timeless Child
>Throughout the series, the Doctor seems to come upon various other conflicting origins for her that all seem to be true at the same time
>turns out it's Omega fucking with The Doctor's timestream
>After the events of The Three Doctors and The Ark of Infinity, The Doctor and Omega are somehow linked
>The Doctor's corrupted timestream is a by-product of Omega breaking out of the anti-matter universe
>Once Omega is defeated in the finale, all alternate origins are undone and The Doctor goes back to just being a random Time Lord from Gallifrey
>Frobisher shows up as well
First for the Eighth Doctor fucked Benny.
Silly old Doctor.
Posting for Tamsin Greig 14th Doctor

Best Doctor
Sounds not unlike the BBC itself.
Incredibly based. Paul McGann is such a nice bloke as well. Will always treasure meeting him as my first Doctor, and getting his autograph.
I prefer him to Tennant myself. Played up the alien aspect more.
I remember reading part of this years ago when you could read them for free on the BBC site, only I didn't really know about the New Adventures continuity, and I was picturing the Third Doctor in this story for some reason.
The guy who made this now works on the show and was credited with his Youtube name
>Frobisher shows up as well
Fund it
...so the Doctor is now a child abuse survivor?
A child that was repeatedly experimented on, repeatedly killed and used as a catalyst to force evolution of a human-like species. It's mind boggling that the entire premise of the show can be re-written like this. The entire show history is now just the traumatized adventures of an abuse victim where the Time Lords are the bad guys, the master is a good guy and the destruction of Gallefrey is just deserts for an evil race of child abusers. I am surprised that the BBC does not receive multiple complaints daily about it.
Oh, so the ring sliding off and dropping on the floor when 12th regenerated into 13th was a direct reference to 1st regenerating into 2nd, I didn't know that.
Incidentally, I ended up watching the Loose Cannon version, the new animations just feel wrong somehow, unlike Otaking's reconstructions (though I'm still not sure of the extent of his involvement in Tenth Planet as he was only credited for backgrounds, but it was clearly using his character design style).
Tangentially, I wonder if I grew too much into Hartnell as I did into Ecclestone back when nuWho started and I began watching it shortly afterwards...
Really? Props to him I guess (or not considering what he has to work on).
whats his name
I want them to retcon John Frobisher from Torchwood as actually being Frobisher somehow.
OBJECTIVE nuwho rankings
Smith >= Capaldi > Hurt > Eccleston > Tennant >>>>>*power gap*>>>>> Whittaker
Time Lords were never really good guys in the first place, they are kind of meant to satirize the British "nobility".
>*sniffs*
>T-the writing...
>*coughs*
>writing could've been...
>*snizzes*
>*pulls out his handkerchief out of his pencil pocket
>it could've been better...
>*snorts*
How do you reply?
>Know him as a little Scottish gremlin for most of her life
>Pounces on him the moment he regenerates.
I mean you can't really blame her Paul is a handsome man but still pretty damn weird
Odd, considering how the PDF has author's notes from Lance Parkin and newly comissioned artwork
I bet that was awesome, the first doctor I saw was 4th dying when I was like 10 and I began fully watching with 11th but Compared with all the other stuff I have read, seen and hear, 8th is best doctor.
>Including Hurt
Chris Chibnall.
I don't think it was a PDF. I remember a website with plain text.
>How do you reply?
>Exterminate!
>*Shoots him to death*
Lance Parkin pretty much straight up says Benny says 8 has sex appeal. Besides. They've done plenty of stuff by the time Dying Days ends, and she *did* believe 8 was dead for a while so I guess it works.
Good Doctor, just wrong time and space.
Sir, did you even watch the episode?
I've just gotten to the episode before Angels take Manhattan in my rewatch. It's a little sad. Not because of Amy and Rory leaving but because I'm getting closer and closer to Chibnall.
Get fucked bigots, diversity always wins!
I got So Vile a Sin in a charity shop years ago for £1 so it's possible but very rare. Usually the people who run them just see the words Doctor Who and assume they're not worth much.
Joe.
I hope that person, loses his legs on a car crash and then gets aids.
>I got So Vile a Sin in a charity shop years ago for £1
fuck my life I was pissed off when I saw one go for £50 on Ebay yesterday... Not interested in selling it, are you by any chance?
>#and that's the tea
>#love that
>#we're thriving
Alri, this is going in the note.
Hurt was nice, but there was frankly too little of him to show what kind of Doctor(-no-more) he was, other than being an old man tired of war.
If you include him, you should also include Martin somewhere in that power gap. Also too little of her, but she had promise.
I just had my offer accepted on a brand new undamaged unread Lungbarrow on ebay
YIKES
Do you think Chibnall got bullied when he was younger and Chinballs was his nickname?
ONCE MORE FOR THE PEOPLE IN THE BACK
My local place always has pretty much a full wall of nu-Who books, alongside the Star Trek, CSI, and Byker Grove novels, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Got me an old edition of the Bachman Books featuring Rage there, a little while ago.
Nothing screams good entertainment more than spite.
>it's a fuck you to the fans
Remember when this wasn't a good thing?
Good on you. How much did you get it for? Settle down with a cup of tea and some biscuits and blast through it. It's worth it, in my view.
£80. Looks pretty mint condition too
The Death Note isn't real. No matter how much you wish it.
so did anyone like series 9 other than clara+12 shippers?
Afraid not my man, keep looking though. Something will eventually pop up.
It's okay.
I think it's a deeply flawed series, but it still has interesting ideas. Personally I prefer 8, in fact I seem to be one of the few people who think Capaldi started great and gradually declined.
Paul "Otaking" Johnson.
He works on some of the animated remakes of the missing stories, the ones made by Planet 55 turned Big Finish Creative (Reign of Terror, Tenth Planet, Moonbase). Credited for character design and animation on Reign except for that "face morphing" catastrophe they came up with, for some reason only for background animation on Tenth Planet when it's still clearly his design style, and I haven't got to Moonbase yet to know what was his official role there. They are doing Fury of the Deep now, as far as I know.
holy trips of Lungbarrow. I do sincerely hope you enjoy it. How many other VNA's do you have?
None! This is my first one. It looks so pristine i dont even want to open it!
im not really that big on Dr Who books desu but i couldnt miss this one
Nice, £80 is a fucking steal considering the condition and how much they usually go for too.
bidding started at 69.00 and had 4 days left, but he accepted my offer of 80. how the fuck did i manage that
i liked it. not the best but far from the worst. hell bent was a bit sloppy, and moffat went too far with making clara 12's waifu.
But I can sign my name real good, cursive and everything.
Gods must have been kind to you. It's fairly standalone so you shouldn't have any issues going in. Only precursor is Cat's Cradle: Time's Crucible if you wish to pick it up, but it's in no way essential.
are hardback versions of Target books rare?
