I would say Carrie might be a proto-slasher type movie. Hellraiser movies are kinda filmed and structured like slasher movies, but Pennywise/IT is definitely not a slasher, same with Reagan/The Exorcist films. Also CHUD is not a slasher. It's just that slashers were the most common type of horror movie in modern times so most of the characters on the left happen to be from slasher movies

When the fuck is Netherrealm Studios just going to make a horror movie fighting game? They clearly want to with all the cameos and you'd think it would be easy as shit since Warner Bros. bought them. They could call it Monster Mash and have characters from every age of cinema.
