A dry 8 foot softwood log sectionis lighter than you think, less than 6 green 2x4. But you could not carry it the mile Arnold was, the seals have a 12 foot or more harder denser log and it is wet. I'm 5'6 and i have carried 8 foot logs from the cutting area 50 feet to the pick up .
