Arnold is the standard by which others are defined.

Bruce

Bruce was the most consistent
Van Damme was the best
Arnie had the most commercial success
Stallone had the best movies

Willis > Stallone = Arnold > Van Damme

>Bruce was the most consistent
How???

>Who was the best?

Steven Seagal

He has, at least a 9/10 movie in every decade

Name the one from the 2000;s and 2010;s

Arnold had very good physical performance, like Jim Carrey. He gets the shit end of the stick because of his accent but his timing is great. In that way I would put Van Damme in the same bracket as him. Very good comedic timing and self awareness. Bruce Willis has been around for a long time and knows what works. Stallone had like a small man complex for quite some time. Just look at him trying to take on more serious roles, like Copland. He's a great actor, but in the end, he settled for being an action hero because that's how everybody saw him.

All four are great actors. Arnold is more like a Charlie Chaplin. But the other three can rely on spoken language. I would have to go with Bruce Willis>Sly>Van Damme. But Willis is the biggest dick out of the bunch for sure.

I've gotta say Kirk >>> Picard >>> The Guy From Quantum Leap. Janeway and Sisko don't count due to their chromosomal and racial handicaps.

2000s:
Grindhouse
Unbreakable

2010s:
Looper
Moonrise Kingdom

The 90s was really his decade, but he was consistently good since too

Arnold > Bruce > Van Damme > Stallone

Why is JCVD even there?

None of those are even 5/10

>looper
>9/10
i think you might want to get your brain checked user

Why wouldn't he be?

>Bruce Willis has been around for a long time and knows what works.
Look what shitty movies he puts out every year for the last 5-10 years.
He became a joke.

he was in Glass last year which is certified kino

In his prime, Arnold easily. Now, I would actually say Stallone.

Willis overall had the best career, he was in a lot of good movies, with Arnold second

Stalone and Van Damme were mostly in stinkers desu

Willis does not have the best overall career you pleb, he has like 3 good films two of which are Die Hard films

Van Damme's career is the least impressive but he's the funniest

Bruce Willis has the better acting range

>Pulp Fiction
>Death Becomes Her
>Moonrise Kingdom
>Surrogates
>Unbreakable
>Sin City
>The Last Boy Scout
>The Fifth Element
>12 Monkeys
>Hudson Hawk
>The Sixth Sense

He's been in lots of great films, you have no idea what you're talking about

Bruce was the best actor
JCVD was the best at fighting
Arnold had the best physique
Stallone was the most balanced

>Death Becomes Her
>Moonrise Kingdom
>Surrogates
>Unbreakable
>The Last Boy Scout
>Hudson Hawk
Literally all shit

Moonlighting is the most kino thing Willis ever did

Too bad you cant watch it anywhere

bruce doesnt belong there. not weird looking enough

confirmed for haven't watched them and being entry-level filmbro

cope Willis fags

cope retard

seagal >all

>Stallone had the best movies
>Rocky, First Blood, and uh...
Yeah.

Definitely not Bruce Willis.

How could you come to this conclusion? What the fuck has BW even been in that was good? Pulp Fiction?

Arnold. It has always been and will always be Arnold
>B-but muh die hard
>B-but muh Rambo and Rocky
>B-but muh Blood Sport
No. Did the others have good movies? Yes. But Willis outside of Die Hard pretty much has nothing except MAYBE the Last Boy Scout and Death Wish
Sly has Rock, Rambo, Demolition man and.....?
JCVD has some decent movies but his really are in a tier below these other 3. He never had a movie that took the world by storm
Meanwhile Arnold has
>Conan
>Terminator
>Predator
>Commando
>Red Heat
>Total Recall
>True Lies
>Eraser
>Kindergarten Cop
>Twins
>The Sixth Day
and that's not even close to all of his good movies. There is no argument to be made. Arnold is number 1. Sly is 2, Willis 3, JCVD 4 (and arguably tied with Seagal)

I agree with the last 3, Bruce I wouldn't even put on the rankings. Van Damme is my favorite too

Looper is a gay version of Time Cop.

They filled different voids under the action umbrella.

Van Damme was for martial arts kino. His best movies were the ones with spinning kicks and splits, his worst ones were him with a gun.

Arnold was for larger than life heroes. Your Conans, Dutches, Terminators, etc. By the time End of Days rolled around, you were totally prepared to watch Arnold vs the Devil without thinking twice.

Stallone was just good action kino. Whether it was as a cop, boxer, soldier, arm wrestler, whatever. As long as it wasn't as out there as an Arnie role, he killed it.

Honestly, Bruce doesn't belong on the list. Without Die Hard he's not really even much of an action star. If you can remove one role and take away 99% of someone's action credentials, they're not much of an action star.

Seagal is underappreciated
His first few movies were great
>Above the Law
>Hard to Kill
>Marked for Death
>Out for Justice
>Under Siege
with each arguably being better than the last. I even like some of his others movies Under Siege 2, Out of Reach, and Fire Down Below. But really, the only ones I might consider him better than in terms of good movies are Willis and JCVD. Arnie and Sly really are just better

I really like Van Damme grew up with his films but he has no place here
I'd go Arnie>Willis>=Stallone

>They filled different voids under the action umbrella.
Fair but, everyone has a favorite. I imagine you do too.
Also
>By the time End of Days rolled around, you were totally prepared to watch Arnold vs the Devil without thinking twice.
Kek. Still waiting on him to fight Godzilla

>We will never get a modern version of Hamlet with Arnie and guns
>Instead we got that retarded Romeo and Juliet modern take with Leonardo Decrapio
Why even live?

Here's the real question. All four of them at their physical peaks. Who wins in a fight?

Van Damme > Arnold > Stallone > Willis

But he's right. Willis really doesn't have that many great movies, let alone action movies. Outside of Die Hard he's meh.
Stallone at least outside of his big roles has some decent action movies like Cobra, and Bullet to the Head

>Van Damme
>winning in a fight
Can I laugh in your face?

Cobra
Tango & Cash
Demolition Man
Cop Land

Based Arnold Loveletter.
>JCVD 4 (and arguably tied with Seagal)
I should kill you for that though.

arnie>everyone

Im sorry user. I like JCVD. He pretty much made the Expendables 2 and stole the show.
I like Time Cop, Kickboxer, and Lionheart.
But, really he had some poorer quality ones like Death Warrant. Not his fault, Ive heard studios gave him a bad deal. But really I feel he has about as many stand alone good movies as Seagal. Though JCVD has certainly had better stuff recently than Seagal pic related

Van Damme was a competitive fighter. There is no doubt he would've wrecked the other cardboard action figures.

Tango & Cash is such an underrated buddy cop movie.

I think it's a matter of opinion that Van Damme has been a champion anywhere

Stallone is the bets actor

Goat Harold Faltermeyer soundtrack. I had this movie on vhs. I would take photos and get them developed. It was quite an expensive process. When I got the photos I would staple them to my wall. That's how much a fan I was of Tango & Cash. Very cool movie and amazing Harold Faltermeyer.
