What's the best X-Men movie?

Well I didn’t try to read it and I also hated it. Overrated and definitely a mid to low tier X-Men film at best

Going to miss Fox's X-Men Franchise, although it definitely should've ended with Days of Future Past and Logan. Because they've had some low lows, but also some of the much better films.

Never got the hate X3 got. It was a perfectly fine action movie, certainly a lot more entertaining than X1 which had tons of dull hanging moments. Origins was a genuinely shit movie, with no entertainment value whatsoever and cheaply shot to boot, but 3 had plenty of fun spectacle.

DoFP was meant to be the third movie in the X-men prequel series. The second movie was going to deal more of the past and have the third movie deal with the crossover, but when the idea was pitched for the trilogy, a bunch of hollywood execs said why not just skip straight to the film with the giant crossovers, because they saw money in their eyes.

DoFP had some of the best henchmen of any capeshit, they actually felt threatening.

Why couldn't Ultron be more like them, if DoFP was made by Disney the Sentinels would stop to quip instead of being ruthless killing machines

All 3 of the first X-Men movies were mostly shitty. Last Stand actually tried a little harder to be a legitimate X-Men film. Origins tried even harder but took itself too seriously that it wound up being shitty. First Class is flawed but a step in the right direction. DOFP is a legitimately good X-Men film in spite of some dumb plot moments. Mangold made kino twice. Apocalypse and Dark Phoenix are just trash trying too hard to outtrash Disney trash.
