>"SO! My next question to the panellists is... What is sixty-nine to the twelfth?"
>Silence followed by everyone looking around
>Allan - visibly sweating - slams his button
>He looks into the closest camera as the gay porn skit blasts through the speakers
>"A lot."
>Klaxon
>The audience and other guests laugh while Fry buries his face in his palms
>"No, Allan. I'm afraid we'll have to dissolve yet another one of your family members in the QI acid vat to finally end it with your quips, you insolent tit."
>Allan is promptly restrained by the elves and a tank of acid is wheeled onto the set
What's user's favourite loadout of guests?

is it a dolphin in a bath tub?

Ok Yas Forums, how many tentacles does an octopus have?

The fewer women on the panel, the more enjoyable the episode will be

it's frightening how true this is

OH MY GOD THE DAILY MAYUUUUULLL

youtube.com/watch?v=-I3qREbKqLw

with men only it's a lot of banter and jokes
What I've noticed is that if there's a woman on the panel they always restrain the laughing and leave a window for the femoid to speak, since they just sit there mute

>that episode where they actually tried to imply that hot water does not kill bacteria

Sean Lock will always be kino

he needs a good partner that cracks him on though, maybe like Brydon

Sean and Bill Bailey is top tier

Any composition that doesn't include Jo Brand

Jo is alright, when she isn't making the same joke over and over she's pretty funny

I tolerate her over any other woman. She suffers from the same "female comedian syndrome" where she constantly has to remind everyone that she has a cunt. But she's better in the way that she's older and a bit more miserable.

No idea, he's the greatest host for any show.
He even said that hosting was the greatest job on television. I don't think they kicked him out because of a female quota since he's a fruit. Could be because of depression.

Let me introduce our first guest tonight, user.
To bypass the no singles policy, he recently took his elderly mother to the movies, but complained afterwards that the graphic sex scene made it "really awkward".
Everyone in the theatre begged them to stop.

Now user, did you bring a mascot?

I still rewatch older episodes with Stephen Fry, they are so comfy

too bad I just can't bare myself to watch the show with Sandi though, she forces her feminists views onto everything and it gets kinda annoying after a while

>Britain has like 30 comedians that just go around the television studios bantering with each-other barely pretending they care about the actual game
Must be a sweet life.

A far superior banter tv coming through.

The QI puppet woman is the most unfunny thing I've ever seen and everyone else on the panel visibly hated her

This was cringe as fuck.

For some reason people think she's a 10/10

Would I Lie To You is great as well, ever since Fry left QI. I can't bear Sandi's presence.

my favourite loadout would be alan davies, sean lock, jimmy carr and miles jupp.

Milk truck

Never Mind the Buzzcocks with Mark “I’m going to systematically destroy you even if I like you” Lamarr remains the best panel show. Closely followed by Simon Amstell hosting it. Literally every episode was just an excuse for them to bully people. Was brilliant when they’d actually dislike someone; Lamarr in particular didn’t even bother trying to hide his contempt for them.

any episode that Bob is in is just guaranteed kino

I also hate her on Bake Off.
She is grating, unfunny and annoying.
Herrrrr I'm a lesbian durrrr. Fuck off.

Lee Mack and David Mitchell are such a good combo, they play off each other really well.

its not her on bake off its the demographic because even noels jokes on that are cringey

I literally have no idea why they chose her as the next host, it could've been Jo if we're going by gender. She barely appeared and even if she did she contributed nothing to an episode.
Who would make a great host?

Not a panel show, but this is maximum comfy.

Most of these 30 comedians went to the same college and belong to the same cliques. It is literally a circlejerk.

OH MY GOD!!! THE DAILY MAIL!!!

There's plenty of painfully unfunny male comedians that feature regularly

I remember watching Mock the Week solely for Frankie Boyle. Russel Howard is crap and that bald guy was probably the unfunniest man I’ve ever heard speak in my life.

This

Why the fuck are my fellow bongs so apologetic when it comes to hosts leaving their show and the BBC intent on seeing it continue? QI, Top Gear and technically Doctor Who all spring to mind. Is it because unlike commercial channels, these aren't made for money? They're still cashing in on pre-established names no matter how you look at it.

I bet you fags will continue to watch WILTY after Rob, David and Lee inevitably lose interest and retire, regardless of how shit-tier their replacements will be.
There's a remote, and an option to change channel. You don't have to keep watching the same shitty shows after the original hosts leave and the production team force their diversity casting on it.

It's the OandA female "hole" theory in action.

If not for Sandi, I go through an episode because of the guests. Watching also reminds me of a time I was happier and younger.

Frankie was great, but they got to him in the end unfortunately. Hugh Dennis was the perfect foil for him and pretty quick-witted, even if not as offensive. Russell Howard started off ok, but as the years went by he grew chronically unfunnier to the point he's worse than what Frankie became.

Andy Parsons in an enigma though. Why the fuck was some unfunny nobody on a program like Mock the Week? All these years later I read his biography and finally figured it out; it's because he was a lead writer for Spitting Image in the '90s, like Rory Bremner, who only appeared in the first two series of MtW. Evidently the two were probably friends and Bremner invited him on to the show. It ultimately proves that no matter how good you are at scripted comedy, it doesn't necessarily correlate to having a successful improv career.

And with regards to Bremner, he shouldn't have left so early on. He was pretty damn good at impressions.

The BBC's idea of diversity is hiring as many ethnic Oxford and Cambridge graduates as possible, nothings changed really.

[muffled screams in background as QI theme plays]

Im the first to admit that "the patricians choice" is normally just what you pick when you want to be contrarian, but having Johnny Vegas as your fave is literally the patricians choice. Literally the smartest person on the panel. My personal favorite is probably Ross Noble though.

The fact that sometimes Parsons drops great jokes makes him all the more infuriating.

Fuck Alan. Not only is he a disagreeable cunt, but he ended his Arsenal podcast and deleted all social media without telling anyone. Fucker was phoning it in for years anyway.

>What's user's favourite loadout of guests?
Phil Jupitus, Clive Anderson and I don't know.
Dara O'brien I think.
