I read a hot take recently by some character in some novel who said Jesus's sacrifice was fake because if he knew he was the son of God he knew he'd only suffer for a bit and then he'd be in heaven with his friends, making it pretty meaningless compared to a sacrifice by someone who didn't know they were going to heaven. It left a bad taste in my mouth.
