Captain Ron. He's a complex character and serves as both a protagonist and antagonist.
Hans Fucking Gruber
Jenny in Forrest Gump
Lord Roderick in Jack the Giant Slayer
Darth Vader
The Joker (most versions)
Nurse Ratchet
Zuul
Mr. Glass
Jef Costello
Awooooo
scorpio
anton chigurh (i am playing on easy mode)
Hans Landa
>Nurse Ratchet
This is the one. Evil, manipulative. Uses her authority to feed her ego at the expense of others. Pushes Billy to suicide. Doesn't actually murder McMurphy but might as well have. And nothing she did was implausible or required suspension of disbelief. 100% realistic and compelling villain.
Landa was the protag, the bloodthirsty jews were the villains.
I personally think that he was the real hero of the film.
I don't know, killing JF Sebastian was pretty uncalled for, that guy was utterly harmless.
Pure Kino
He helped to create the slaves, though. Doesn't really matter how feeble he was IMO.
It always confused me as to why he murdered him, I understand pretty much that whole movie but not that.
Don't even have to watch the movie yet to know it's this guy
They murdered anyone they could find who assisted in making them slaves, including the chinaman who developed their eyes. JF developed their nervous systems.
>murdered anyone they could find who assisted in making them slaves
Ironic that the replicants in 2049 chose someone who did exactly that as their savior- Ana Stelline.
Darth Vader
So it was vengeance? What kind of robot has a lust for vengeance
Sheev Palpatine before Disney
Hans Landa after
>robot
Good point, but she was half replicant and gave them some of her own memories, one of which was a catalyst for K rebelling in the first place.
He did nothing wrong.
The more I think about it, the more parallels there are with her and JF. Both genius level designers, both too ill to leave Earth (whether Stelline's illness was real I don't know), both without any real human contact, both had close relationships with Tyrell/Wallace, both encounter a replicant as their introduction in the movie (Pris and K). There's probably more but that's just off the top of my head.
Yes
Never thought I’d hear The Giant Slayer mentioned like, ever, no less on Yas Forums. Stupid but funny villain
Darth Vader definitely #1 iconic villain
I never noticed that. Any thoughts on whether or not the similarities were intentional and what they might mean?
She was playing the average woman if she didn't have dog brains.
I think it must be intentional, especially now that I'm thinking about it. Their only real interactions are with their own creations, JF his little toys and Ana her memories. Ana even parrots JF's line "there's a little bit of me in you", which he tells Pris and Roy, she tells K "There's a little of every artist in their work". Far too many similarities for it to be coincidental.
What was the meaning of this, however, that's the hard part. I am not sure. Or at least I'm not sure enough to make a statement on it. It's very interesting though, I'm surprised I didn't catch this until now.
Chuck fuckin' Cedar from Mr. Deeds
Not seeing this guy on here yet. How?
>2049
That vomit trash is not canon.
Because you are blind.

We've even been having a nice discussion about it. Try reading more than one post next time.
Looking for more neo-western like this.
Any recs?
The protagonist is always the best villain in any story. Development is about overcoming oneself, user.

NO
There's like 30 posts in this thread and half are about Blade Runner, you tard.
Cameron Dias in The Counselor was a very good antagonist.
Walter Peck in Ghostbusters

It was Stanley Tucci hamming it up with method eyebrows, and he held his own with literal giants.
