So many of these lazy cocksuckers out in education. They're not actually interested in preparing you for a career, just to pass the exams and move on so they can keep getting paid by the college. Finding and studying textbook question banks isn't cheating.
The few that aren't this way just tell you everything about the material but what you need to know to complete assignments (math teacher approach, which is fine as long as you never get stuck) or rarer yet, an actual expert in the field who can hold your interest for hours talking about anything.

If you want a functional society you need to change institutions first. Most college courses could be trimmed down to the very essentials and remove like 50-80% of their content, which would make it easier, cheaper, and give students more time to focus on the important stuff. People cheat and dont take their studies seriously because they realize when they're still young that most of what they learn is useless, and part of the reason why we spend a decade of our lives learning useless stuff in school/college is so teachers won't collectively sperg out. It's an economic model, one that is deliberately full of superfluous content and unefficient methods because a class of people wants it that way, for profit.

I go to community college, and I couldn’t imagine any of the professors acting like these assholes. One prof who was a good teacher got pissed in an intro to film class when a guy said he was boring in the middle of class, but it was a pretty understandable reaction. Are universities full of self-righteous jerk-offs?

Most of mine were decent. There was one who tried way too hard to give the impression of being that cool, unpretentious hippie professor. He wore sandals and old tshirts to class and made us watch John Oliver clips in almost every lecture. He was a massive cunt in private apparently.

depends if you're going to a large university or small college. for me, general education classes were like this - with lecture and a lab run by TAs and the smaller, specialized classes were instructed by the actual professor.

Once you're an adult you can't be forced to do anything. You can still just pick up a trade and make more than 80% of college graduates without sacrificing four years of your youth

I already have a job that I'm fine with for now. But they keep telling me that I'm too intelligent to spend my life working at my job.
It's a community college I have no idea how many people go there or how big it is.
They tricked me. They said it was just an application to see if I was eligible to attend but it was actually the application to sign me up for classes.

You can still drop out dude, especially if the classes haven't even started by the sound of it. It's not like you randomly got drafted into the army. Stick with your job, most college is just a boomer meme these days.

pretty much easy mode depending on your professor and there's a lot of different shit you can do. get an idea if they have any programs that will get you trade certs, or look for schools you wanna transfer to and choose classes that will meet their requirements. oh and be aware of deadlines for dropping classes so they don't show up on your records, you can abuse the system into having a good gpa that way.

Back in community college I had a course in system networks where the professor stated at the start of the year that he would give a small test every week and the final exam would consist of all those small tests collected together. We had the option to make either the collective small test grades our final grade or the final exam alone. I spent the entire semester playing games in class then the week before the final took all the small test questions and studied them, not the material. It was a matter of responding to written stimuli,not learning or studying. Aced the final due to rote memorization of questions and answers, forgot it all the next day, learned absolutely nothing.

When I went, all but 2 of my professors also taught at the state university that was near. They were all absolutely fantastic, genuine, helpful professors that actually believe in furthering my education. I really don’t think it’s any different to university. I’ve never had a “bad” professor except for a mathematics professor who was recently hired, but that was only because he was a new hire and had thick accent.
