>new documentary out
>remastered DS9 scenes are literal 4k kino
>heartfelt and has virtually the entire cast
>get a S8 "what if" scenario, best Trek material in fucking decades
>ends with a Sinatra-style quartet with the cast
Was brilliant.

Is this supposed to be a DS9-specific thread or did you not see that there's an edition thread up with 200 posts?
what sort of gatekeeping faggot are you where you think we can have only one thread about Star Trek? Did you get confused and think you were on reddit or something?
It's a DS9 documentary thread.
>doesn't know that "edition" is a meme and not a real thing
>DS9 sequel series
>Odo comes back with a new actor
>Kira: "wow Odo you've been in the link so long you're a little different now haha your personality and mannerisms are so different haha"
>Nog comes back with a new actor
>Quark: "ah Nog I see you've achieved your mid 30s second puberty metamorphosis like a normal Ferengi haha it's like your a new man haha"
the premise of the S8 premiere is 20 years later, user.
I'm currently going through TNG with a friend and it's some of the best TV I've ever seen. Just finished the two-parter where Picard got captured by the Cardassians (David Warner was fucking great) and I'm glad to see they play a major part in DS9, they seem like interesting villains.
They are the best villains next to Romulans.
>there literally isn't any active Trek thread
Quite frankly I was really let down with the woke bullshit. Ira went on about how Garak was gay. So fucking what? He was an amazing character and his faggotry is irrelevent.
And fuck Cirroc Lofton for saying nothing has changed in the US since the time period (50s) for Far Beyond the Stars. We just had a black president and he's whining.
The lack of Avery and the women who played Wynn and the female shapeshifter was disappointing.
