>"He was in this same position four years ago after Spectre came out, where he said publicly and loudly that he was done and then, as time passed, he just wasn't.
>"There is something about this part that scratches an itch and he's not prepared to see it go to another actor yet. It' going to come down to how No Time To Die is perceived by the public and if it can become the highest-grossing film in the series."
>The insider said if it does, Daniel will be up for returning to the role one more time.
god please no. Had quite enough of Dan "moody bollocks" Craig's Bond.
David Morris
It's clear he is going to cling to this role until his literal dying breath at 110 years old.
Kayden Sullivan
>There is something about this part that scratches an itch could it be the fat fucking paycheck perhaps? that'd sure """"scratch my itch""""
Dylan Moore
God damn, go make Layer Cake 2 or something
Enough of Craigbond
Hunter Carter
If No Time to Die makes something like 800 Mil with critical praise...youd be dumb to think this faggot wouldn't return
Hudson James
L8yer Cake
Hudson King
I hope not. I was looking forward to finally being rid of him.
Andrew Walker
jesus christ when will this boomer fuck off doesnt he already have enough money to play golf his entire life
Noah Phillips
has he got a crack habit or something?
Jaxson Campbell
>The name's Cuck.
Colton Hall
Wasn't he "too old to be Bond" like 2-3 movies ago? Wasn't Bond like retired 2-3 times already and in this movie they're still dragging him out of retirement?
Daniel Baker
based white man stealing jobs from black women
Christian Torres
he's trying to keep the role white as long as possible
Tyler Wilson
I don't get the appeal of James Bond. The older movies, sure. But after the cold war ended and with all the shit we now know about actual intelligence agencies I just can't get into these movies at all. Sure, I like a male power fantasy, but these movies don't even achieve that. It's like reading a playboy when you have pornhub. A playboy that has been sold to feminists.
Jeremiah Wood
Hopefully the next one he’s not “in retirement” again and is an active MI-6 member
Ian Taylor
Who cares? Craig will always be remembered as the Bond who lost 007s number 1 status @ spy-agent-movies to Tom Cruise and Mission: Impossible
Owen Bell
I wish this faggot WOULD slash his wrists. All his Bond movies have been joyless pieces of shit.
Joseph White
Wasn’t that Pierce ?
Logan Morgan
No. M:I4 was the turning point
Jason Mitchell
we can either have this bond or let them hand it over to a black woman choose
Pure cringe Craig and Connery are objectively the best bonds.
Charles Long
This
Jaxson Hernandez
I thought the rumor was he was going to be brought back as a director.
Wyatt Adams
sure thing zoom
Jeremiah Morgan
>If I mention Craig and Connery together people will think they have anything in common Yeah, nah
Ian Cox
I hope this is true. I don't want a black tranny playing as the new Bond
Caleb Wright
I dont want him to anymore. Ever since he got married. He adopted his wife sjw bullshit programming. He co signed modernising bond
Jace Fisher
When did I claim they have anything in common? They're obviously totally different, but equal in their bond portrayal.
Christian Powell
>equal Yeah Craig with his moody fuck bond drinking Heineken and being monogamous is really great, oh wait Fleming's Bond would call him a pathetic faggot and shoot him
Caleb Butler
I cannot wait until this dude is gone. I’m sick of his Bond. I don’t care about this story anymore. Like who the fuck watched Spectre and thought to himself, yeah, this is what I need.
Brandon James
>130451318 >Connery and Dalton are objectively the best Bonds Fixed that for you. Craig is only slightly better than Lazenby. He's below everyone else.
Austin Sanders
Bourne is superior
Jayden Green
At least Lazenby looked the part and was a womanizer, he's leagues above Craig
Jordan Nelson
Can't wait to see old Bond come out of retirement again and prove that he's still got it. Shits gonna be so awesome just like the other 12 times.
Ryder Evans
Actually Dalton and Moore were the best, they just got stuck with shit movies
Anthony Lee
Except Moore's movies were great
Connor Miller
Its Brosnan and then everyone else
Nathan Powell
Golden Eye, Casino Royale, and Spectre are the best only post-Cold War Bond movies. All what you said in your post not major themes in these films.
Ryan Murphy
>There is something about this part that scratches an itch
Moore was simply too old for the types of zany adventure scripts he was given
Julian Roberts
No surprise here, he loves his $$
Wyatt Baker
bet you ten bucks they’re going to do a stand-alone movie with the black lady that’s in no time to die and Craig will make a small appearance
Hunter Turner
When will this faggot retire? How many times are we gonna have to get >Hurr durr Bond is an old man going against the odds and is outta shape and spies are outdated On top of his stupid emotional Bond? Can we just get back to real Bond and be done with this gay post 9/11 edge lord fad?
Bentley Flores
>But after the cold war ended I do not get this argument. If your argument is Bond should be fighting Islamic terrorism or something because that is what modern days intelligence operations are often geared towards, well rarely were Bond films about the West versus the East. Bond has never been 'serious' - even in the 1960s and 1970s people knew Bond was not serious spy fiction.
Jacob Reyes
>Craig and Connery are objectively the best bonds.
I can understand someone arguing for Connery, but Craig?
Despite the picture attached to this comment, I would probably say Brosnan is the best incarnation of Bond - by which I mean his Bond is most well-rounded in regards to the traits the character should possess: i.e. such things as the physical look (including age and general fitness), the abilities and skills Bond should have (particular for the era and his wider character), the way he interacts to situations and with others, the right type and level of humour, the ability to be serious and dark, etc..
Dalton is also a good incarnation of Bond, indeed the 'dark'/'brooding'/'tormented' (whatever you want to call it) Bond is Dalton not Craig. Craig portrays Bond (as is sadly too common nowadays for 'brooding' characters) altogether too grim and often completely soulless, of which Bond is neither (despite what many Craig fans may think) nor is such approach even interesting/loyal for/to the character. In contrast, Dalton's Bond does put across the sense that Bond is a man who knows sorrow, who has this anger within him, and has few qualms with using violence when required - that is how someone who is dark or brooding or tormented is like. Dalton is a Bond that has a dangerous glint in his eyes. Beneath his general skills and typical cool professionalism, Dalton's Bond is further dangerous because he actually does feel: by having emotion he is not apathetic to action nor does he come across as expressionless - case in point Licence to Kill, it is the fact that Dalton's Bond has emotion which drives that film.
I figured they were literally gonna kill off this Bond
Hunter Miller
>I figured they were literally gonna kill off this Bond That rumour/speculation has been going around for a while now. If I remember correctly it was said the people behind the scenes and Craig himself wanted or want Bond to die as some sort of send off.
Parker Adams
His bond is old fashioned and worn out and has already gone on too long. And the stunts have become lazy. Get a new team on it with a new actor.
Jack Gutierrez
Brosnan is literally the worst Bond. Talk about shit taste.
Noah Stewart
The director flat-out said that NTTD was going to be Craig's last in that behind-the-scenes clip they released.
Adrian Gutierrez
>a movie called no time to die >dies pottery
Jackson Johnson
> Thinks Brosnan is literally the worst Bond. Talk about shit taste.
James Wright
His Bond should have ended after Spectre.
Jack Hill
skyfall exit would have been on a high note. we could have a 3 bond movies since then, instead of one
Kevin Scott
>His bond is old fashioned and worn out and has already gone on too long.
Not sure what you mean by old fashioned, but I agree with worn out.
I think a big problem with the Craig-era is the interconnecting of all his films is what partially has made him worn out and is chiefly what is responsible for the feeling he has gone on too long. Sure Bond films in the past had references to previous Bond films (sometimes even those that had different Bond actors), but they all stood alone. When it comes to No Time to Die there is going to be part of you that is thinking about his all his other Bond films because effectively they form one long story - and this began in 2006 with Casino Royale.
There is also such jarring difference between the Craig films in terms of style and tone. If they stood alone it would not be so much of a problem, but when watching them one after the other (as part of a interconnected story) there is such dissonance.
Aaron Richardson
>but equal in their bond portrayal. How?
Grayson Phillips
...
Noah Perry
Craig doesn't have much of a career outside of Bond does he?
Daniel Ramirez
In fairness to Craig his has been in other things: such as Knives Out, Logan Lucky, Layer Cake etc. In general Bond films are often time consuming, and ultimately do you think he necessary cares. For that matter, most Bond actors are best known for being Bond and is the biggest thing they do.
Hunter Hughes
>14 years >4 movies >plot thread was heavily retconned into existence in the last one >which was released 5 years ago
