it unironically is. I couldn't finish BB s4 but I also knew what happened in the end of that one.
meanwhile the start of every BCS season has been like christmas.

It really is. But mostly because the last 2 seasons of BB sucked ass.

>waiting for that "YOU CAN'T CONCEIVE WHAT I'M CAPABLE OF" line from the trailer

but nothing happens in better call saul. my gf convinced me to start watching it a week ago. we started with 2 episodes a night. i powered through first 4 episodes fully awake, but i fell asleep when we started 5th. it basically became my nap time. last night episode seemed promising so i stayed awake for 30 minutes. big mistake. already got so used to the naptime that i missed so i couldn't have sex afterwards.

Hands down.

Gimmie Jimmy!

just go back to watching avengers or star wars

Only because Kim >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Skyler

furthermore, no flid son

This. It just becomes too fucking stupid

How are they going to explain Sauls explosive weight gain between this show and BB?

S'all good, man.

yes, it is. everyone except contrarian fags and adhd zoomers agree.

hehe

he's american

Living a life of degeneracy for a few years will do that naturally

Am I just a complete mouthbreather or does the latest season torrents have no seeds?

Yeah uh breaking bad was better

is he that much fatter in BB? I never really noticed

i thought so.
it was definitely comfier

Why does better.call.saul.s05e01.1080p.web.h264-xlf.mkv have an hour of a different show after the episode? WTF is this thing?

Rewatching breaking bad made me realize how stupid the characters acted at times. Like in season 1 the characters are really grounded and act believable but by season 3 literally Walt and Jesse make the most retarded decisions out of spite

BCS has depth, and the characters are all interesting and of their own. Its like they found a way to make mundane/crummy living interesting and action-packed in a good pace. BB is just too intense and ended up feeling gimmicky in the end. Like, I almost forgot how cheesy the scene was when Gus exploded up and he still had time to fix his tie

>BCS has depth, and the characters are all interesting and of their own
it's because of the breaking bad. BCS can't stand on it's own. BB had cheesy scenes (machinegun) but it's easy to forgive them because there weren't too many and everything in between was very good.

But the best characters of BCS aren't even in Breaking Bad (Chuck, Kim) and the Jimmy vs Chuck drama alone is better than all episodes of the 5th season of Breaking Bad. The feud between the two brothers doesn't have any involvement with the Breaking Bad plot/story

Don't forget about how Nacho and Lalo are better written than every cartel character in Breaking Bad.

>BCS can't stand on its own

youtu.be/rreFXFnlKO4

>this scene that's stolen from another movie proves BCS can stand on its own

yeah, swallow my jizz, BB fanboy. your show's done, go to sleep

Any court scene is automatically stolen because other media have court scenes I guess.

It's hilarious is what it is. You fucking watched some of it, too.

Season 3 of BB was fucking terrible. It's insane how much the quality of the show dropped between seasons 2 - 3

Breaking Bad seemed like a national phenomenon, anyone you talked to was watching it at the time. Hardly anyone watches BCS for some reason.

I'm waiting on those two hoors walking in the restaurant

People needed a new "lone middle-aged white guy anti-hero against the world" type of show after the Sopranos ended.

because many men love to associate themselves with walt, the show's a power fantasy to most people despite it being the opposite. the bitch wife and the family man are two characters that anyone can recognize and project unto. in other words, bb just have dumber audiences

that you are my friend

>Hardly anyone watches BCS for some reason.
BB in addition to being an incredible character study was also le epic badass drug dealer wish fulfillment for dullards. BCS is *just* an incredible character study.

which parts went too stupid for you?

It's a tie.

So was the Walking Dead. Being hyper popular doesn't speak of quality. BrBa is still better than 99% of tv, BCS is just above that

>half of all episodes are filler where literally nothing happens
>filled with lots of mundane stuff, like Mike doing boring work stuff for 30 minutes or jimmy not being Saul Goodman yet for 3 seasons
>has atrocious pacing
>filled with tons of shitty member berries to breaking bad (woah member tuco? member the cartel boss on a wheelchair? well he got like that thanks to that guy that Saul mentioned in a throwaway line when Walter was gonna bury him in the desert! member him guise?) which is just annoying and feel contrived
>best character (jimmy's based brother) carried the show until he was unceremoniously killed in Season 3
>it's just boring
I don't know how people can like this show unironically. it feels mediocre. in breaking bad at least things happened in each episode and things were significant.
better call Saul is just mediocre and too slow. also Mike's actor is clearly too old too and his secret agent slash Hitman slash contractor slash private detective slash super cop who can do anything is just so lame and unbelievable.

the show has seriously lacked direction since chucks death, most of all in season 5 so far. The drama is good but there's only so much well written individual scenes can keep a show going with no overarching goal or conflict with the main character. We had that with chucks character as jimmy felt like he needed to become a successful high profile lawyer for his brother, then in-spite of his brothers best efforts. the show since his death just feels lost with filler to bide time until the climatic plot point that ends the show.

Didn't Vince pick up more women writers?

Ozymandias was voted the best episode and was seen as the best episode is the entire show and was in the last season you dumb cunts.

Yeah because unlike BB, BCS filters all the plebs

You and I must not be watching the same show. The cartel plot and Saul plot are very clearly overlapping.

The overarching goal is literally in the title of the show, you absolute fucking moron.

>Some old guy yells at a kid for misaligning a stair step
BRAVO VINCE

Cringe contrarians

>half of all episodes are filler
>has atrocious pacing
>it's just boring
Low IQs just keep getting filtered.

Kim/Saul's relationship balanced with the mob.

Done.

>the show has seriously lacked direction since chucks death
It has clear direction, Saul's introduction in BB already establishes he's going to get wrapped up in Lalo and Nacho's schemes (I mean we're already seeing this happen, the storylines have begun to overlap) and we also have the endpoint of the Jimmy/Kim relationship to anticipate. And even after all these pre-BB plot threads are taken care of there's still the Gene stuff that's been building up.

it's bold to say this but a lot of breaking bad was bad. the plane crash was god awful

No lol
no one is watching this shit

Season 4 was still heavily influenced by Chuck though. The Jimmy plot had to do with suppressing his feelings of guilt about Chuck's death and stepping out of his shadow now that he's finally dead. I think your complaints are very shallow.

chuck and his illness plot was unbearably boring dead end. cartel stuff is much better because it keeps adding depth to the well established breaking bad universe

I hate the Mike and Cartel stuff although I like Nacho and Lalo. Jimmy, Kim, Howard and Chuck are kino. Eugene is megakino.

it's not.

>episode? WTF is this thing?
General Orange Pryde.

Gimme Kimmy!

I gave that a chance. Halfway through was confused because the message didn't make any sense and it seemed all style no substance. Then "it" appeared.

How do I get as slick and charismatic as Jimmy lads? I don't wanna be a Chuck

Watching Walt's school speech was more cringe desu.

Walt's speech was hillarious.

revealed his powerlevel trying to erase his guilt.

‘Umm hello, based department?’
