Shinra let them blow it up in the original. In this they fully intended to blow it up and by the end think they did, having just as little remorse. Only difference is that we saw Shinra ensure the destruction.

The dungeon design was varied and well constructed, and the massive secret dungeon was legitimately magnificent. The designer's talents were wasted, but they were still on display.

No but good job outing yourself again. It was a massive puzzle based dungeon with no enemies. The popular guess is it was cut from earlier in development but kept as an easter egg because of its size. It's widely considered the highlight of the game.

It's in the northwest and only accessible with the flying car (there's a tiny runway you can barely see). You have to do some footwork and fight some field enemies before you find it.

Neither have I. I got it so early I didn't even play the revised chapter 13. I have no idea about the dlc. Been considering going back to it. I never really hated the game. More disappointed in its unfinished state.
