What do we think of international sensation Ralph Sepe's A+ grade Film School final project?

>It was an honest and straight forward portrayal of a certain type of person. That's why it connected so well with mainstream audiences
People love to be the victim, the movie is basically a revenge fantasy about that and not very creative at it, add the joker and you got 1B for sure, capeshit is easy to sell

You didn't address any of the points. It's not arthouse. You've just learned a bunch of fancy words on letterbox but you don't know what they mean. Dismissing it as a revenge fantasy is dishonest, so you're either a brainlet or your post is bait. Dilate faggot.

Not the same user, of course is not arthouse lmao only redditors would consider it as something other than a capeshit flick

I only watch Ralph tear apart bad films. I can't stand his opinions on genuinely good films (Like Parasite or Joker).

The problem with arthouse is that most of those types of flicks are dishonest. Much of it is simply meta commentary on the genre which is just masturbatory nonsense. Straight forward films like Joker on the other hand are honest, which is why hacks like you hate them.

Don't watch that stupid hack. You're a faggot if you watch any of his videos.

Digital with little to no artificial lights and bad or no colour correction in post.

That's not the real answer. Ralph is just a hack that doesn't know how to colour correct and use the right filters. The no budget short below was shot on a cheap camera and looks good. Ralph is just a stupid hack without any talent.

Because that guy isn't a narcissist and care more about making a good looking video than he does trying to be the "Tarantino of Youtube"

If you consider arthouse movies dishonest just because they have more complex characters, a particular narrative most of the time and actual cinematography with style, then fine, stick to capeshit and fast and furious, those kind of "honest" films are definitely for you
