Haven't watched Series 2 in a while. Currently on Greeks Bearing Gifts.

When I look at this fan film:
youtube.com/watch?v=augxOAiskEY&feature=youtu.be

It shows how the doctor, even when played by different actors is the same timelord that run away. Someone just wanting to do good and have fun.
Not a hero or something like that.
Not a old god with endless regenerations.
Why we must suffer like that?
ITS NOT FAIR!!!!!!!

When will he start doing Big Finish?

Imagine actually watching the show post Tennant, you idiots have no taste

>First female Doctor
>Embraces all of the characters' neurotic tendencies
>Future Doctors look upon this incarnation with open disdain and embarrassment
No way will the BBC allow this

Never mind. Just realised Random Shoes is series 1. I'm thinking of Out of the Rain.

Female detected
Capaldi is the best modern incarnation of the Doctor

Isn't that the lesbian episode?

It's a shame Eccleston exists to dissprove this statement.

>Tosin Cole leaving the show to star in an AMC series
>Bradley Walsh confirmed to be leaving the series too

So series 13 is just going to be The Doctor and Yaz, sounds dreadful.

Yeah. The posh one from My Family's in it.

More like even more dreadful. I probably won't watch it. Kinda sad that who is dead, never thought I'll just drop it outright.

>le funny sarcastic man xD
Not cut out for the roll

>i'll give you 50 quid if you kill yourself, but if you don't you have to give me money
how the fuck does that work

Honestly I really enjoyed the first Smith/Moffat season

HACK FRAUD

That was the best series. Also, Tennant and RTD's whole thing was tired by the time they got to series 4.

Has Chibnall said anything about the feedback to his episode?

I think Moffat is the real hack fraud because he said in an interview that he sat down for dinner with Chibnall he wanted him to become the next show runner

Three companions was always too many. If you're going to flesh one of them out may as well be the fit lass.

why do americans always spell 'role' and 'cue' wrong?

All it shows is that the writers fill in gaps with bits they've already written

It's not like he's going to say he's shit, is it?

No, he wouldn't say that.
He'd just say it's shit.

What episode would you consider the ultimate litmus test for a proper fan?

Got to be Sun Makers. Excellent story, cheap sets, sharply written, not universally known so can't hide opinion behind popularity

Imagine actually watching the show post radagast the brown, you idiots have no taste

Attached: seven.jpg (1200x675, 119.23K)

Genesis of the Daleks for all the same reasons.

I've heard the idea put about that Michael Sheen could play the Doctor. Not overly familiar with him as an actor, but he does have an almost Tom Bakerish look about him from certain angles.

genesis is basically the epitome of doctor who

>Genesis of the daleks
>not universally known so can't hide opinion behind popularity
Wut

This is now /fools/ general.

Only Fools and Horses thread. post your favourite moments of the show. Official thread theme: youtube.com/watch?v=BiYYVeBdqaM

I don't think you're a true fan until you learn to appreciate Colin Baker.

Jesus, look at that fat, useless turd. He probably thinks he's still at University and this is all just jolly japes.

Forgot the show and listen to BF. The seventh doctor only gets better in the audios.
Funny enough I just listened to the second River Song release that featured six and seven and it was fantastic.
Some really good discussion concerning the different types of men they are. Six sacrificing himself and seven about to wipe two people from existence for the greater good and river in between them.

Captain Jack is a great example of how to do an LGBT character right. The only reason we know how he swings is because he's a gigantic horny flirt and literally can't stop himself. It's not his entire personality. He's not just a gay guy or a pansexual guy or whatever. He's a space-faring, cocky swashbuckler that happens to go for cock, vag, and anything inbetween.

>It's not his entire personality. He's not just a gay guy or a pansexual guy or whatever.

This is another thing the Timless Child fucks up. If the Doctor had infinite regenerations he could've just stood in one spot hitting the wall forever, even directing his excess energy at the wall. He didn't need to drag himself back to the transporter room.

How's that for a title.

Yes

and we have to be grateful to this man for finding lost episodes.

That's a hard task. It's easy to appreciate Colin, he plays it well, and his best stories give him a nice relationship with Peri. But the absolute shite stuff like Trial make for painful watching.

Thse two were literally the best part of the show fuck they had a cute dynamic

I'm gonna miss Graham especially

but how does she know all of the different doctors and vice versa yet Tennat's doctor doesn't in Silence in the library two parter??

Would he? dude's a bit of a cuck, he's obviously a sexist from how he writes women, yet he still added female empowerment fantasy BS for PC brownie points.

Even though he started Hi-NRG music, he must be praised for basically saving 60s Who

What's the deal with Ian Levine? Why is he even a known entity? From what I gather he was hired as some kind of continuity editor in the 80's, purely by being a massive autist, and no one likes him very much.

>unequivocally based tier:
being a 30 year old wizard who started liking doctor who in the wilderness years
>very based:
watched since the reboot and became addicted with eccleston
sort of based tier:
started watching earlier but favorite dr is capaldi because "he was more true to the character"
>tumblr zoomer tier:
favorite doctor is tennant or smith, likes the character because he's quirky and wears funny clothes
>basic evil tier:
started watching because the doctor is FINALLY a woman
>unimaginably evil tier:
started watching doctor who because you heard the doctor was a sassy black woman now

our wesley snipes has had a long career with a wide mix of stage acting, really solid films like frost/nixon, also trash like twilight and underworld, he was great with tennant in good omens last year.
he's definitely good enough for the role. too good probably.

She ends up wiping their memories at the end although seven proves difficult because he anticipates all her tricks
youtube.com/watch?v=DwzJVHWPZio
I guess its kind of silly in the end but it was a fun four hours

I'm the top one but only 22. Started watching when I was 4. Parents had taped episode 6 of Genesis when it was repeated in the 90s and I watched it on loopas far as I can remember

For what it's worth, he found a ton of the missing episodes and was involved in restoring some of the other ones, though most of the work ended up being unused and he seemed a little pissed about that.

While it lessens his self sacrifice, twelve didn't very well know about the fact he was a ultra time lord did he now?

>watched since the reboot and became addicted with eccleston

That is me, but I'm also a 30 year old wizard. Didn't know a thing about Doctor Who from the other side of the fallen iron curtain so only learned about it thanks to the reboot.

It's one of those things I remember being aware of as a kid, but didn't quite get, then I got into watching repeats of Tom Baker maybe three-four years before the reboot happened.

Which tier am I? Started with the reboot and liked Eccleston but my favourite Doctor is Tennant. Not because he's quirky and I don't see how his clothes are particularly funny.

>pinstripe suit, trainers, and 3d glasses
just normal attire

anyone else find it hard as fuck to follow the stories of these long big finishes? or am i retarded

the timless child is a retarded idea, but that's no excuse for you being a retard.

Maybe? I don't know. I love the longer stories. Are you doing other things while listening or just the audio? I like to put on headphones, ignore everything else, and listen. It helps visualize whats going on.

He only wore the glasses for one episode. Plus, trainers are comfy. Especially in Tennant's case since his Doctor ran everywhere.

no I've found some can be a bit conveluted and the audio format means that it's also easy to lose track of what's going on.

>nonce glasses

God I hate this fat speccy shit more than Jodie Whittaker presumably hates herself.

Attached: 1578117626953.jpg (895x895, 133.84K)

was it kino?

Attached: fae7c286-5eb7-42cb-836f-23bda51b6815.jpg (449x461, 31.65K)

the story does mention that the veil stops regenerations. There are other examples of infinite regenerations being an issue though.

It's the biggest pleb filter in the revival.

why would jodie hate herself? she cute.

>audio format means that it's also easy to lose track of what's going on.
How? hey usually give good indications about what is happening with the sound effects. If people are walking you hear foot steps and what not.Just build a picture in your mind. The special effects are better then Yas Forums.

Is Ian Levine the one that got a settlement for being being a hostage in a bank robbery, and used the money to travel around the world looking for the lost episodes?

What if I started with Smith but prefer classic Who?

looking back at it; yes.

river song podcasts: based or bad?
