Except that's not true, the only thing that Slavs have in common are similar but not mutually intelligible languages. Culturally a Slovak is closer to a Magyar than to a Macedonian, a Bulgarian is closer to a Romanian than to a Czech (just to name a few examples), Eastern Slavs are also their own thing. Then you have completely different political goals, conflicting economic interests, historical conflicts between some of the countries, different religions, and a painfully obvious fact that smaller countries would become an irrelevant minority in one bigass Russian empire lmao.

Pan-Slavism failed miserably whenever it was attempted because it's a fundamentally shitty idea. You can't form an uniform country based on linguistic considerations alone.
