One time I played as fascist New Zealand in Hoi4, it was nuts, me and Japan formed our own faction together separate from the Axis and I ended up conquering Australia and the Indies (twice because when the Americans started to bare down on me I had to pull back to NZ to play on the defensive), I left the game running overnight and woke up to find that NZ somehow had a larger navy than the Americans. This. Germany fucked up the allied empires so bad that they could not hold on to their colonies anymore. WW2 was the end of the British, Dutch and French colonies. The Dutch even tried to reclaim their former territories with military power after WW2, however they failed miserably.
