I wish Canada would adopt Kanji. It's such a graceful and patrician way of communicating. I'm about as much an Angloboo as you can get but our language is all kinds of backwards troglodyte speech. We didn't even have standardized orthography two hundred years ago now nothing is spelled like it sounds and our grammar is a weird mashup of every indo-european monkey-speak to ever rape its way onto the sceptred isle, other eden, seat of mars.

You're implying kanji is any more logical pronunciation wise? Hanzi, yes. But not kanji.

No but it adds an interesting cultural and aesthetic to the language, and pictorial free association is patrician.

English is far too analytical, and what little cultural texture our language has is being stamped out by feminists and weird SJWs. If I was Prime Minister I'd create a prescriptive language academy modeled after the Académie Française, then put them to work importing kanji and standardizing verb inflection according to latin norms.

Sadly Anglos are too influenced by Rousseau and Orwell to ever go for it.
