Shits fucked

Sure is, my dude.

we don't even think about you at all

just want to clarify that absolutely no one in this country pronounces arse the way yanks do even if we spell it that way, if you've been told otherwise you've been misninformed

similarly, we typically substitute 'dude' with lad or mate so not really sure where this one's coming from

Yeah we say dude, we also say mate, lad and man. And we say ass like every other culture that speaks English? Pronounced arse. Did you have a stroke cunt?

the technically correct term here is "arse" but if someone spelled it like that we would think they are a bit old-fashioned

shame you didn't rename the currency after all

>Tfw surrounded by boomers that spell jail as gaol
>Always read it as gale

why is looking like scooby doo a bad thing?

Whoa, gaol is a spelling of jail in Australia? Are you pulling my leg?

It's just an old spelling of jail that has basically been abandoned now, but it was popular even well into the 20th century. A famous place here is the Old Melbourne Gaol, which retains the spelling.

The only people who spell it like that are bogan baby boomers on facebook.

>australian handegg
Wut? Thought their sports were cricket and rugby

huehuehuehue

Cricket: summer sport over entire country: most tv views
AFL: winter sport in South and West: most attended sport
Rugby league: winter sport in Queensland and New South Wales: most important states
Rugby union: played everywhere but only by posh people and kiwis
Soccer: extremely popular to play, nobody watches it

SCOOBED

thankfully our vocabulary is still more English than American actually.

There's very little vernacular distinction beyond simple memes in our respective usages of the same langauge
