The answer is: yes.
Just avoid visiting some Donbas and Crimea. Also, small cites are mostly undeveloped shitholes. But you won`t get there anyway (no proper roads, lol). If we are talking about oblast centers: they are pretty cozy.
The western part is more for medieval times and old architecture (it avoided the first 30 years of USSR).
The Center is famous to be the heart of Ukraine. All those traditions, lovely countryside et cetera.
The North is mostly wild. Like Klondike with swamps + Chornobyl.
The South is agricultural. Broad steppes and feeling of space. Also, the famous "wheat fields" could be found there. Also, the Black sea and Odesa.
The East is an industrial disaster. Don`t go there. Just Some Cossack stuff and factories + frontline.
Cities no visit: Kyiv, Lviv, Odesa, Mukachevo/Uzhgorod (those are located in Transcarpatia region), Kharkiv. Also, Ivano-Frankivsk and Ternopil are cool.
