I was watching a show about Southern cooking last night, and they featured West Virginia and some snack they have called a pepperoni roll
literally a small pie with salami in it. It was clearly wop food with a midwestern sensibility to it, nothing Southern about it. I immediately wrote several strongly-worded letters conveying my disapproval to the station, called the police, and set my monitor on fire.
