Can someone explain me where the sudden rise of the right wing and nationalism in Italy comes from? Italy was always known as a nation without a very strong national identity where people were more focused on their family and region. On top of that it was always presented as a place where people very strongly believed the government doesn't have any mandate to tell them what to do.
Yet nowadays they seem to be one of the most obsessed nationalist countries around, what exactly lead to this?
yo what's up with that black guy on the bottom right
Nicholas Smith
There isn't a single Italian flag in your picture, there are a lot of Venezian flags though so as you can see regions still trump national identity
Alexander Peterson
Sind das refugees oder identitäre?
Oliver Bell
You have become their spacegoat, so both the souf and norf have a new "foe" that they hate more than they hate each other.
In Spain It is the opposite though, ethnical tensions are increasing non-stop.

>sudden

Every political manifestation need it's own bull

>yo what's up with that black guy on the bottom right The first black senator in Italy runs for Lega.
Jace Rodriguez
Italy was known as a nation that bayed for Slovenian and Croatian blood over land that was never Italian in the first place so hard that they overthrew democracy and installed the first ever fascist government.
Austin Ward
Sie sind das refugees, user.
Jordan Martinez
Fascism was still relatively weak and crumbled quickly. It was also the outcome of a war that saw low levels of mobilization because Italians already figured out the imperial desires of some king aren't worth dying for.
Jose Price
Not a single Italian flag in that image. Interesting.
Nicholas Peterson
Dont worry guys we all vote PD here
Andrew Wright
Sehr gut
Ryan Hughes
it's probably from when lega nord was still northern seperatist. the lega nord logo doesn't say salvini on the bottom.
Jayden White
Because according to the (((media))) if you don't want take refugees and third world immigrants you're a fascist
Connor Phillips
this is true I myself cannot wait to vote pd again the next regional elections, and most italianons think the same as me
Kevin Hughes
dont worry fellow italians PD will soon become the largest party in Italy again
hence why fascism was developed, which put the will of the nation over the will of the king, uniting all class under a corporatist form of government for the time, fascism was incredibly progressive
Cooper Roberts
>pd >social democrats >accomplishing anything besides dissolving national sovereignty and trying to uphold the crumbling political establishment against the will of the people
Ian Jackson
refugees obviously we italians are much darker than that
Justin Long
Fascism was not the will of the nation otherwise they wouldn't have their leader butchered like a fucking pig
Matthew Jones
>the acts of a few communist partisans reflects the will of the nation no more than mussolinis march on rome did
Cameron Ward
It's still stupid to call it the will of the nation. The nation didn't like the monarchy but they didn't exactly come together and decided fascism was their true desire.
Robert Myers
they didnt exactly kick mussolini out once he got into power either; on the contrary, he became more popular until the war. in the end it doesnt matter what the people want, theyll accept anything out of convenience, which is why we still have the EU
Thomas Fisher
Elaborate. The Iberian peninsula is mostly homogeneous when it comes to ethnicity. The only differences are gyppos, Ceuta, Melilla and that town where they're all half Japanese.
Gabriel Watson
Average moor from Melilla is more ethnically Spanish than Basque people
Caleb Walker
Scatalans and basques being the niggers they are.
Ethnicity is more about culture, you are talking about genomics/ancestry. Though I gotta tell you that geneically wise things are more complicated than that.
Dylan Adams
Fucking spacegoats
Henry Peterson
Eres subnormal y ves mucho la tele, vuelve a morocoches donde tus argumentos se los creen niños de 15 años, por favor.
Levi Davis
Nunca he estado en mierdacoches.
Evan Allen
>that town where they're all half Japanese. What?
Jordan Garcia
Hay zonas de Andalucía que fueron repobladas por refugiados japoneses que huyeron de la persecución cristiana. Igualmente, los genes se extienden y no es raro ver gente con "ojos achinados" a lo largo de Andalucía
