If you try invading from the west you are fuck out of luck however most of the population is packed within a hundred km of the coast, and the vegetation is devastated, making attempts at guerrila useless.

that is true. i just always thought brazil as a massive country that would be impossible to really take out completely. used to play wargames with friends with our own maps and one we had was brazil and the goal was to own the brazilian capitals and i could never take rio branco, porto velho, or boa vista ,even when i tried riverboats up amazon river, taking cities on coast, pushing armor units up Pampas, all at once. maybe because i'm not as good as military generals? not possible, must be something else

canada is a country that would be almost impossible for any country other than usa to invade, most canadians live near us border so it would be hard for america but they could do it, trying to invade canada from east or west would be impossible. population of canada is built horizontal instead of vertical or evenly so pushing west or east would take a long time. like trying to invade chile from the north except more land and difficult islands.

I always hate this map because it leaves out the big part where half the country is covered in nuclear weapons

Most of our borders are a nightmare to invade but the economically important areas aren't that well defended. An advanced military capable of attacking the coast would cripple the country.
It'd be curious how some of the favela gangs would act in the event of an invasion considering some them have paramilitary levels of firepower

yes it would have been more good to include gangs like in natal and recife as it would be difficult to own these without fighting them. they are almost equal to milita in firepower, but much worse discipline and organizing. maybe an extra type of unit can come into play, not under control of brazilian player but on the brazil side that fights forces trying to take big cities? for example, get within 2 tiles of natal and 15,000 or 30,000 "gang man" units appear in natal, not requiring supplies, but not under control of brazil player and do not move outside of natal?

most places the air is unclean from factories, cars, these kinds of things, but here in many areas there are a small amount of these things so you can inhale the air but you cannot "smell" the air, does this make sense?
