I'm yet another American that hates this shithole country and dreams about moving to Norway.
Simply put, the US prioritizes greed and the potential of greed over education, health, and a good standard of living. Norway seems to be the opposite. Also the culture seems to be more introverted while the US is obnoxiously extroverted, you "work to live, rather than live to work", your language is easy to learn, Norwegian girls seem to actually have hobbies, you have Aurora and Sigrid, etc..
Try to convince me that I'm a retard for admiring Norway so that my expectations are more realistic by the time I do move there.
I like boring. Boring means I have the freedom to explore the things I actually care about.
Caleb Perry
>most people in Norway live in the Oslo district No.
Dylan Jackson
No one will bother you in Norway. The nice things is that you don't have to deal with any bullshit.
Nolan Hill
So you're saying they're educated enough to not fall for the racism meme?.. wonderful
Hunter Russell
Yeah if you say so
Jeremiah Jenkins
U will get taxed harder than in America, less freedomz and pay much more for fuel. Housing isn't to cheap and Oslo is like any other modern city. It gets very cold in the winter.
By all means if your a driven person with a good career, make the move if u feel bold enough, but if ur average i wouldn't recommend it due to the high cost of living. Have you considered moving to a more rural American state to get a feel for it? Politics are a meme and personally, i wouldn't let arbitrary factors like that affect my place of living.
Nolan Fisher
You forgot to mention that we also is the great Satan
Bentley Gonzalez
>pay much more for fuel.
We don't pay for fuel, we are electric car faggots now
Isaac Smith
Why not the American Midwest then? Seems like a quiet place to me.
Benjamin Rivera
The high cost of living isn't a major issue for me (after I pay off my student loans at least)
I'm aware of the taxes but they are supporting some of the things that make me want to move there anyways so it's okay
You do have a good point about moving to a rural state instead and I think I will consider that more intently. But it is still the US and this place genuinely disgusts me
Benjamin Bailey
Norway: disgusting language, shitty people, shitty culture, shitty food, nice landscapes. Finland is the only Northern European country not populated by shitty Germanic subhumans, with their cancerous vapid neoliberal drone culture and throat cancer inducing languages.
>But it is still the US and this place genuinely disgusts me Lock yourself in your basement and stop fucking complaining, you child. I know America has problems and Norway is pretty nice, but moving there isn't gonna fix your faggy attitude towards life. Grow up.
Parker Lewis
Who hurt you?
Logan Watson
Norway is a shithole compared to the Netherlands or Denmark
Ayden Long
accurate in what way?
your experience here will be very different from natives'. If you are not extroverted you will have a hard time getting friends. If you dont have a good CV or education you will have a hard time finding a job. The weather is grim. And where did you get that the language is easy to learn from?
Gabriel Evans
You're right, I am complaining. But being disgusted by this country isn't the only reason for why I want to move. It's more that I fundamentally disagree with this country's priorities.
In that case, moving to a country that I do agree with is probably a good way to deal with that isn't it?
Eli Morris
If you got the resources to move there go ahead. You will either find a new home or reality will kick you in the nuts and you will start to appreciate the US. Either way is a positive outcome
Xavier Lee
Why do people hate Oslo so much? It seems pleasant.
Robert Fisher
you know how burgers hate NY and LA? It’s just that on a smaller scale
Jaxson Rodriguez
It's a european capital hating thing. What's weird is that other nordics hate it too.
Jason Martin
Any country that relies on the sea for food is far from perfect
Connor Bailey
>amerifat can’t into fish
Ayden Martin
We don't rely on that, but yes we also have it as å option
Jose Robinson
So if there was a world famine and you had to be completely self sufficient you wouldn't have to rely on the sea for food?
