But science isn't about finding meaning at all, it sounds like you've completely misunderstood the fundamental principle of science. It's about knowledge and exploring how things function, what laws are in play and how to predict a string of events. Meaning has no place in science at all, there's no meaning to how a rock erodes over thousands of years. There's no meaning in how a plant grows from a seed. There is only function, laws and observable properties. Claiming there's meaning is borderline theological and would get you booted from any serious institution.

A bit out of topic, but I always got mad at how every teacher, principal and the likes described Philosophy class as "something that is meant to make you think about life" but in the end all you do is copy-and-paste some theories and discussions about the meaning and perceptions of life made by some dudes who were either accomplished in life or stoned or a combination of the two; from over thousands of years ago to about two hundred years ago. And you just needed to pick all that up and put it in a test.
