France and Britain conquered half of the world because they were constantly trying to gain an edge over each other. Well, to be fair the Chinese savagery is mostly related to just continuous cycles of human rights abuses, starvation, stupidity and deprivation The Japs on the other hand really had no excuse for the butchery they inflicted on anyone else except for the conception that everyone else was inferior and it wasn't really considered a sin or stain on ones integrity.
