How are Harvard graduates treated in America?
How are Harvard graduates treated in America?
Like anyone else
In the STEM industry, like rich kids who've never taken a hard class.
Same in IT industry ?
never taken a hard class ? Harvard ?
Harvard is not known for IT
only Jews, Asians and famous people get into Harvard
The mentality is totally different in France. If Harvard was in France, just graduating from it would allow you to do almost everything.
Look like in the US it's half nepotism half actual skills ?
Nah its the same, but non-ivy leagus can get good jobs too.
t. make 185k at 22 not in CA or NY
Why Asians are this op ?
Don't whites know how to raise kids or what
>How are Harvard graduates treated in America?
idiots who wasted their time and money. education is now a joke thanks to women taking it over.
Conan O'Brien said most stupid people he knew are from Harvard.
How? wtf
Dude how ?
teach us
By actually being good at your job? These people usually fit in the category of not needing the school name to succeed. More of Harvard helps you succeed instead of you needing Harvard to succeed, that’s 2 very different scenarios. If you’re extraordinary, you’re extraordinary anywhere they throw you.
>education is now a joke
What's the future user ? the next goldmine women havnt fucked over yet ?
Are you born extraordinary or can you unlock that potential (if you've got some but wasted it or never used it at 100%) ?
Almost every new grad getting a job in SF or NYC is making at least $100k
You’re not born extraordinary. You’ll come to realise a lot of these people aren’t prodigies. These people usually work way too fucking hard and the funny thing is they’re not depressed at all, they like this shit. People who still try to keep the ship afloat even if it’s sinking. This is the case for those from humble origins that make it in life. I’m not talking about diversity admits and legacy kids.
Being good alone doesn't make you earn 185k a year. I've worked with higl profile engineers from the US in a project and I know they are well paid (don't know the salaries) and they were just like us.
In STEM ? IT ?
Tips to love working my ass off ? i'm a depressed fag without bravery during difficult times and i panic easily
You're an engineer ?
Yea I’m talking about US context. I’m not talking about some shitty academic caste system like South Korea.
ouch
I Guess just start with something, work really hard, taste success then repeat and it just snowballs. If you fail just power through it and succeed again. That’s all there is to it. This all seems very common sense I shouldn’t be explaining it.
I am not in CA or NY though. There I was getting 215k
>What's the future user ?
we have no future. women are now going directly to the jobs by passing laws. Women are forcing companies to put them in to the board of directors.
I know, it's positive reinforcement but maybe it's my burnt dopamine reward system but i struggle catching the wave of success you know, if i win something i will always question my strength and think it was luck or something else
In SF, software
In NYC, software or finance
Sounds like you have a self esteem issue. Start taking credit for your achievements but not to the point of arrogance, remember you want to keep pushing and improving
Any proof? L
Yes but I'm a civil engineer. It's a waste of brain nowadays, is hard and doesn't give you what mechanical engineer gives.
It's still a lot, I worked with them in a wind energy project and I knew they were well paid. Just imagining how good must be for them
Can’t you claim that you are a woman? LoL trans should have more power over women
Software engineer in the Valley ?
You don't need a specialty to be a code monkey in finance ?
Was it hard (for both of them) ?
I'll try bruv
Maybe i should find one of these life coach. I'm too paranoid to let a shrink change me. After the meeting i'll totally erase what he said also paranoid about AD and SSRI
>You don't need a specialty to be a code monkey in finance ?
Why wouldn't you? You have like 6-7 interviews and they test your knowledge
>Was it hard (for both of them) ?
Only 5% of US makes as much as I do, so yeah of course its hard. Also, experience outside US does not count in US
Yes
I don't know too much about finance desu
But I know they have a lot of data analyst positions that pay very well
Your knowledge about finance or IT ?
You do this for passion because since 12 yo you were a nerd or for the money ? are you the genius type or just worked ?
A programmer can be data analyst or it's 2 separate fields ?
>Can’t you claim that you are a woman?
yes, this works in the current clown world we live in. some guy saved money in his car insurance by changing his drivers license to "female".
> Your knowledge about finance or IT ?
IT
> You do this for passion because since 12 yo you were a nerd or for the money ?
Im only in it for money
> are you the genius type or just worked ?
My gpa in uni was 3.95/4 and I know a thing or two about softwares
Masters ? good college ?
Adderall or Ritalin ? AD/SSRI ?
based
