That place looks beautiful. Got a few things growing outside but I have about 1/50th of the space you have.

of course I do my countrymen

unfortunately not I just buy poisoned shit

that's ok, stay active!

based

I will build a garden in my site and sell some vegetables when the lockdown is over and I can travel back my city.

what's with those green bananas

squash, strawberries, watermelon, and flowers. will be planting cuces and taters soon.

also have some persimmon trees but my pear tree recently died during a drought :(
F

Your pic looks really similar to the central countryside of my country. My dream is getting a house there when I get a good job and money.

I hope you fulfill your dreams

Top comfy. I'm from a poorfag divorced city family so I have never had any of this. I'm going to get a house eventually and fill up the yard with comfy veggies, herbs and fruit trees and just sit around drinking a beer watching the bees buzz around

Nice, you should get some beehives aswell.

I grow potatoes, tomatoes, marrows, green beans, strawberries and beetroot, and I have an apple tree and a pear tree in the garden. The pears aren't the nicest but they're okay, and the apples are only good for cooking but I love making pies/crumbles with them so it's great to have.

I also have mint and thyme potted. I got an olive tree as a gift two years ago and it survives perfectly fine, but definitely doesn't thrive. The only 'fruits' it has given me are two tiny purple things that look like pickled peppercorns lol. Maybe northern England won't be getting its own olive oil producer anytime soon...

maybe a greenhouse and well drained, loose soil.

idk its the same thing here with olive trees in terms of production but because its much to humid. also no proper cold season for it

Thanks, like the peruanon says, i'm going to try my best.

Yep

I'd like to get into gardening but I'd have to move farther south because everything but the hardiest plants dies here

ya
grow most things except for potatoes and like celery

My greenhouse

those logs things look very contrived

it makes me sad when I see how beautiful is Slovene countryside

i have no house but i do grow lemones in my flat
but it's more like a hobby than actual farming

Trees are a diamond dozen in Sweden.

I have a massive rodent problem on my land, it's the easiest way to keep my veggies and greens safe from sharp teeth.
They have a steel net underneath, stopping all "attacks". It's all local wood.

That Cool! Cows can type.

>diamond dozen
"a dime a dozen" (sorry)

It's a doggy dog world.

How many Swedes grow swedes?

Amazing. You should remove the asbestos roofing though.
Do you need to heat your greenhouse?

Stahp plese

I don't have a garden but my parents live in the countryside so during the 2 months of lockdown I planted tons of potatoes and veggies. It'll be too much for me and my family but I'll share with my friends.

>asbestos roofing
It's not asbestos, it's really old and moss covered roofing tiles made from clay. The most common roofing material here in Sweden.

Yeah but right now the soil is literally as dry as a the sahara desert.

>Do you need to heat your greenhouse?
Sorry, missed that question. And yes, in the winter I need to heat the greenhouse, or it will be freezing inside.
I have a heater set on an automatic thermometer that activates when the temp drops below 24-25 degrees depending on what I'm growing.

You bet I do.

My gf is growing a tiny Swede inside her right now, does that count?

>do you grow your own vegetables
We used to grow our salad but now we order it from some farmers.
Today we only have some fruits in our garden (we live in a city).

yes, it's easy to set up a raised bed in any American yard for the purpose of growing vegetables and the like. I grow peppers, tomatoes, potatoes, carrots, strawberries, figs, grapes, radishes, lettuce, cabbage

>cabbage
Thanks for reminding me, I need to plant some this year.
