wtf no. Skyrims extremely diverse setting was even better than Oblivion in that regard. Tundras seem like the perfect place to live in.

I think the setting in Skyrim was good, the big turn off about skyrim is the new gameplay it provided, it felt different from the previous TES games in a bad way.
