>united states would have stayed isolationist >the uk would still have it's colonies >japan would include korea and manchuria >the USSR wouldn't have fallen (at least, as quickly) >no nuclear weapons for at least another century >no 1960s counter culture >no instability in the middle east (because of no united states meddling) >no 9/11
makes me depressive to think how much better the world would've been had it not been for that retarded war
the united states wouldn't have experienced an economic boom afterwards too and it would've taken longer for us to get out of the great depression. this probably would've caused us to have more democratic socialist policies
Jaxson Jackson
>>united states would have stayed isolationist not necessarily >>the uk would still have it's colonies >>japan would include korea and manchuria >>the USSR wouldn't have fallen (at least, as quickly) implying those would be good things >>no nuclear weapons for at least another century no, they would've just been developed by France, Germany or the USSR instead (most likely Germany if it wasn't for the antisemitism) >>no 1960s counter culture implying that was a bad thing >>no instability in the middle east (because of no united states meddling) no that would still be there, it was created by the partition of the Ottoman Empire after WW1 >>no 9/11 yeah probably not
Justin Cooper
>the USSR wouldn't have fallen (at least, as quickly) why?
Chase Murphy
Also there would way more whites in the world right now since 75 million whites died in WW2
Jason Long
>no instability in the middle east (because of no united states meddling) Bräh
Matthew Flores
>>>no 1960s counter culture >implying that was a bad thing kys hippy
Camden Nelson
still would be better than where we are now with our interventionist foreign policy
William Diaz
the united states abandoned it's isolationist policies specifically because of japan having been so aggressive and germany having followed suit. had it not been for their unconventional tactics, it would've been hard to convince the american public to be supportive of an overseas war. >implying those would be good things not necessarily, and i'm not defending colonialism either, but you cannot deny that the uk was the most humane and generous (in the lightest sense of the word) colonial power in the world. they rarely used any divisional tactics like the dutch or spanish did and really only cared about modernizing the colonies in exchange for natural resources. japan, prior to world war 2, did not commit nearly as grave atrocities against their colonies as it did in world war 2. the USSR would've had significantly more manpower in it's workforce had it not been for world war 2 which would've led to far more economic stability and prosperity for itself and it's allies. and no, 1960s counter culture wasn't a bad thing. what was bad however, was what caused it (the vietnam war) which, in my opinion, wouldn't have happened had it not been for world war 2.
Brody Kelly
>if world war 2 hadn't happened it would have happened later between the capitalist west and communist east and it would have been worse, the real question is what would have happened if ww1 never came to be
Jaxon Clark
sexual revolution is the reason even i have gotten laid.
Brandon Wright
>implying that was a bad thing Yes it is a bad thing, cunt.
Angel Flores
If WW2 hadn't happened you wouldn't be alive right now ungrateful shit
Brody Young
The 60s counter culture movement marks the start of the decline in the West.
Samuel Mitchell
why do you hate freedom? who do you think you are telling others how to live their lives? the UK was a ruthless colonizer as well, forcing Indians to produce cash crops that led to famine or brutally conquering the Boers
Eli Wilson
what decline? west, or at least northern europe, has never been this prosperous, happy and peaceful.
Cameron Gray
i just wish the good guys won
Kevin King
>the UK was a ruthless colonizer as well, forcing Indians to produce cash crops that led to famine or brutally conquering the Boers there have been studies on which former colonies fair the best in the modern day, and nearly every former british colony has modernized far better among the countries surrounding them. this is because the british implemented greater education for the masses, introduced modern (for the time) infrastructure, and valued the well-being of the colonies rather than just pure exploitation like france or spain did. again, i'm not defending it, but india, australia, ghana, etc. would not be the main powers of their regions had it not been for british colonial rule
Brandon Jones
Luckily they did
Carter Gutierrez
There wouldn't be an israel either
Evan Morris
All those things, just because some Poles attacked a radio station. Damn..
Ayden Edwards
>le edgy american using a vpn get fucked, if you are iranian you'd be under the rule of a new "roman" empire had it not been for the allies winning. the italians wanted to force everyone in your region to speak italian and they would've raped your women and killed any men who resisted. very true, europe would still have had the very highly educated jewish people that in reality went to the united states and israel. this would've helped europe with more scientific advancements and there wouldn't have been a holocaust.
Jacob Turner
Most of those are good things. I don't know why anyone would miss the Soviet Union — it's difficult to think of a state that's inflicted more net misery on the human race. American isolationism is a myth pushed by Barry Goldwater types looking at the past bleary-eyed through a bottle. The British Empire was always unsustainable, and could've turned out far, far worse. &c.
Owen Perez
I would move to pacific islands if Japan still had those ones.
Jason Wood
opinions of american sheep mean nothing to me. go give more money to israel.
Lucas Rodriguez
the USSR greatly industrialized the countries within it more than they had before. also, education in the USSR was some of the absolute best in the world. i won't defend the USSR completely, but to just narrowly say "USSR bad" is unfair because a lot of good happened as well. >American isolationism is a myth source? it was literally de facto policy that we wouldnt get involved in overseas wars. the british empire WAS unsustainable, however, it easily could've lasted another century or two before the net negatives outweighed the positives.
Nolan Campbell
You're dumb as fuck All that you said shows a clear lack of knowledge about what you're saying
Gavin Butler
I'm not telling anyone how to live their lives Hans, I'm tired of the lgbtbbqgtav movement telling me how to live mine. My ancestors came to Canada because no one was here and we could be left alone. Northern Alberta doesn't need tax funded pride parades that's what Montreal/Vancouver is for. North America is under attack by the multiculty. Enough of the world is plagued by thirdies we don't need them here
Nathaniel Powell
how? what am i wrong about?
Camden Thompson
Your interventionist policy is what allows you to be that rich, or do you think anyone would use the dollar if you guys stayed isolated?
Ryan Fisher
Taxing the public to pay for a world-spanning military is making us poor
Ethan Richardson
this is such a retarded talking point. How do LGBT actually affect you in your daily life? Do you even know one personally? I bet in barely affects you at all, yet you choose to whine about it online. Yeah LGBT have rights too, if they wanna be annoying about it they can be, they have freedom of speech just like you and me. Nobody is forcing you to become gay or trans or whatever like right-wing pundits like to claim
Isaiah Thompson
>do you think anyone would use the dollar if you guys stayed isolated? yes "The United States became the lender of choice for many countries that were willing to buy dollar-denominated U.S. bonds. In 1919, Britain was finally forced to abandon the gold standard, which decimated the bank accounts of international merchants who traded in pounds. By then, the dollar had replaced the pound as the world’s leading reserve."
>source? it was literally de facto policy that we wouldnt get involved in overseas wars. Spanish–American War
Carson Bell
because of spanish-controlled Cuba's proximity to the United States, we were threatened by colonial powers at the time and backed the war of independence so as to rid any European powers from having any proximity to the United States. Remember, at the time, most European countries were far more powerful than the United States and colonialism was still a real threat to us
Adam Robinson
Right now my province is getting economically stomped and the faggots want to cry and moan about how useless programs like free needles and the homo rape clinic are losing funding. Our state sponsored media outlet CBC is anti white and is all about celebrating some goat fucker festival. This progressive fuck feast needs to come to an end. I don't care if you suck dick for a living just don't parade it down the streets and keep your nose out of my business.
Adam Young
you're the one putting your nose in others business you have zero self reflection
Adam Lewis
you sound retarded man. do you also believe immigration is a net negative?
Kayden Bailey
i don't know what homo rape clinic is but giving free needles to junkies is just sane harm reducing policy. it helps prevent spread of diseases and that makes it cheaper for tax payer than not giving out free needles.
