pretty bleak BMX and NASCAAR are the only two that caught on and neither have been popular since 2010
i meant motorcross not bmx lel
The World Rally Championship takes place where I live youtube.com
Astin martin are set to be on the podium for le mans
Aren`t the new rules pretty much killed by FIA.
What about Indy
Astin managed to petition last I heard to get the v12 to be allowed on the track so it's no longer running as a v9 like last time
>v12 to be allowed on the track so it's no longer running as a v9 like last time
Never knew that, i thought the new LMP rules allowed to use any engine, as long at it was also powered by a certain kW of eletric power.
Sad that we never get WRC here, though there is Rally dos Sertões, which is like Dakar, but inside the country.
Pretty comfy
we are drift cunt
I watched some RDRC on yt.
forgot about Dakar
NASCAR sucks because it stopped being about racing "stock cars" decades ago.
I think public interest is slowly fading when there aren't anymore WRC or F1 champions from Finland. Finns are ultimate gloryhunters.
>Finns are ultimate gloryhunters.
Kinda similar here, if a sportsman make a mistake and loses, he'll just be haunted forever, even if he recovers and plays/drives well next seasons.
Here the "Stock Car" went back for the monocoque chassis for 2020 like in OP pic.
most categories are shit because they have very strict rules and nobody can't pass anybody.
the best one is pic related because they run "stock" cars, without refined aerodynamic so they can pass each other at the bends.
pretty big
24h nürburgring, rally, DTM, there are several
>they have very strict rules and nobody can't pass anybody.
huh?
if a car touch other, or make a "reckless" manoeuvre it is sanctioned, so if you watch the start, then you already know how the race will end, because nobody want to take risks.
That makes sense on open wheel categories, now on GT cars it's just dumb.
this is the most popular series here, and the oldest in the world.
the cars can't touch each other, and the tires are so hard that they last the whole race and there's no changes from the beginning to the end of the race.
Didn't knew they were the oldest, when did they started? The current stock car championship here started in '79.
That rule still dumb for "GT" cars since in all races they're bound to touch doors every time.
is it good? i'm not into drag
It's really nice, i like the mishmash of cars and types of projects.
1937
Nurburgring is based. I'm taking my Clio as soon as Coronachan fucks off.
Nice, i'm currently watching a Fangio documentary on Netflix, talking about how he started his carreer. I think he also races in this same one i forgot now.
sorry the stock car serie has been runing since 1961
this doesn't run stock cars.
fangio an senna were dearly friends.
i'm so much more into drift
Only chad rally and hillclimbs

Elite
*overtakes you on the grass*
I really don't get it. Drifting is pointless.
For me it's rally or touring cars.
There is this scene on the documentary.
I used to watch a lot of D1, but now it becames souless for me. The Brazilian championship is nice and gives me the same vibes as early D1, but it's starting to become souless with the 1000hp Silvias too.
goal in rally - come to finish 1st
goal in drift - drift clean with good angles and do it as close to opponent as possible
(if simple)
>Interlagos 1000 miles
>bunch of Opalas, Gols, Mavericks and Chargers competing side by side against 911 Turbos, Ferrari 355's and Jaguars

So much SOUL.
