It's not white people, it's white Americans. The US has a really unique relationship with race that has made us all fucking autists over it. While Latin America either tried to abolish race (like Mexicans) or fuck certain races out of existence (like Brazilians), Americans had a hard on for keeping every single race separate and pure as possible but also crossing racial lines and having sex with one another.
