Not sure about the legality, but bedouins here build them by themselves, they just get some bricks and cement and start building, one of the houses I saw has a non-straight roofs, but the shape looks nice desu

I don't know.
Wouldn't make a difference if it wasn't.

What? It can be illegal, huh?

same here, then they screech when the police come to demolish the house

Yes. But you need approval from the local government. Usually this involves submitting engineer and designer plans. Also is required to have electricity, water and sewage hookups. Once you have approval for all that crap you can build it yourself as long as it passes inspection. The approval shit can easily cost more than the house itself btw if you build a small simple house. Sometimes costs over $100 000 before you put a single shovel into the ground

Yeah, given that you follow some rules (if you break down a house you have to let one inner wall stand or renovate it) but besides that you can do whatever you want.
There's a guy across the street who is building his own house all by himself, kinda kino desu. It's taking him 2 years now though.

So you could just buy some land and start building yourself, no questions asked, no documents needed?

Kek. It's a cost of a decent house here with a nice land plot

yes

Your country is renowned for DIY builders

You can buy some shithole house on a large plot of land here for

Indeed, you need some documents, plan and all that crap if you want to get a registration but it's not necessary in case of county house that you can make as your main living place anyway

I feel bad for you. Such a big country with retarded rules

>tf
>tp

yeah. some electrical work needs to be done by an proper electrician though.

It's about housing, fake litva. And it's not that bad here at least

That's still pretty based then.

Okay, Yermalovich

You are literally not legally allowed to anything by yourself here but everyone does anyway

you do need a license to build, another if you wanna build there, and show the bluepapers to the local administration. It's just rudimentary procedures, just to make sure people aren't living in a "chabola" made out of 4 brick walls and a metal roof. You don't want building sfalling down people's heads, do ya?

No. Look at Belgium if you want to know why.

No it's not

Do you guys even have any space left for building? Your country looks just like one city

It is not based.
Because of that people tend to build whatever they want on money they have at the moment. They don't care about aesthetics and how the surroundings would look after.

Look at picrelated. This could've been a perfect looking area but it's filled with absolutely different houses instead
