Can any Belgian or Dutch here tell me more about the Brabant Killers? I've been fascinated with this case for years and it's legit spooky as fuck. Unfortunately there isn't much information in English. I've read all kinds of speculation, from links with GLADIO to pedophile networks and what not.

Why don't you ask her parents what exactly happened the day she disappeared? I've watched numerous documentaries and they haven't been able to come up with a plausible explanation.

No one can be 100% sure, obviously, but if I had to bet I'd say her parents gave her an heavy dose of sleeping pills, and she woke up and banged her head on a wall and died, or something like that.
Again, this is just speculation, after all it's still a mystery (duh). I can't really wrap my head around the fact that some kidnapper seamlessly pulled off a kidnapping of a little girl at at busy resort for middle-upper-class folks at 9pm in Spring (9pm in Spring in when people go out for walks and stuff, almost the Southern Euro equivalent of broad daylight)

It wouldn't be that hard to wear gloves and kidnap a kid if you've been observing an area for even a few days. I don't think her being kidnapped is necessarily the most likely scenario but it is far from impossible. Other children have disappeared without a trace.
