It's even dumber than that. Because of Corona the demand for oil went down and as such the prices went down so to compensate for the lower prices the oil producing countries upped their production and refused to lower it because it's a game of chicken.

Sounds like the govt should instead say oil is "unessential" (even though it is essential, MORE oil is not essential til they can find a place to put it), tell the oil guys to apply for NEETbuxx online.
