Ancient Egypt was one of the greatest places in the world. Modern Egypt? Another boring muslim country, no different from Algeria.
When will Egypt become cool again?

Egypt seems pretty cool. Can't wait to leave this shithole behind and go there. Although I'm not sure if I am going to have diaspora regret or not. As long as I don't have to work with Egyptians I will be fine, being self employed.
when a new pharaoh of the fish rises
Egypt became garbage after the mamluks were overthrown
You want to go to Egypt but not interact with Egyptians?
This
Work politics in Arab countries are absolutely brutal and cut throat. Imagine an employee intentially throwing away a manual for a heavy industry turbine so that only he knows how to operate it and maintain it to secure his job position. I don't want to be playing game of thrones in the workplace.

Do they really?

>Wow this country was like really cool 4000 years ago, but now its bad. Why cant nations be rich throughout all of their history lol ?
what
Should have stayed Christendom
>Should have been a cuck
lol
Also, I just wanna say this, since I believe the INTERNATIONAL board is more knowledgeable about international culture and geography than average people:
There is no such thing as “Arab culture” that spans from the Atlantic to the Persian gulf. It has always been westerners who believe in these stupid orientalist ideas. There’s significant differences between the cultures of, say, Algeria and Egypt. From clothing and language to religion and cuisine. But unfortunately, the average westerner thinks the entire MENA region is just this same, homogenous area. This might be true to an extent to the average Egyptian since most egyptians dont really leave Egypt.
I dont decide history
Cringe
One of my best mates is an ex Sunnae Egyptian Arab. He told me about 12 years ago he wished Britain would come back to Egypt. I was why lol
Copts were treated like trash by the Byzantines. Expecting them to remain subordinate is expecting them to be cucks which they were not
Ancient Egypt was just lucky because they had defensive advantages.
Once they lost this in around the 600s they kept getting fucked.
(Even Nubia conquered them lmao)
It was because of differences on the nature of Christ. That’s all.
>around the 600s
lol.
He said you take for granted the stability of your country. This was before the so called Arab spring
I am sorry but could you next time just use “Sunni Egyptian”? Westerners using “Egyptian Arab” triggers me.
Egypt was cool under Nasser.
egypt started deepthroating dick the moment they embraced socialism and leftist politics.
the only way they'll ever be relevant againt is rejecting leftism
t. more communist than china
Sorry, it was in the 700s
>Piye then marched north and achieved complete victory at Herakleopolis, conquering the cities of Hermopolis and Memphis among others, and received the submission of the kings of the Nile Delta including Iuput II of Leontopolis, Osorkon IV of Tanis and his former ally Nimlot at Hermopolis. Hermopolis fell to the Nubian king after a siege lasting five months. Tefnakht took refuge in an island in the Delta and formally conceded defeat in a letter to the Nubian king but refused to personally pay homage to the Kushite ruler. Satisfied with his triumph, Piye proceeded to sail south to Thebes and returned to his homeland in Nubia never to return to Egypt.
>Despite Piye's successful campaign into the Delta, his authority only extended northward from Thebes up to the western desert oases and Herakleopolis where Peftjauawybast ruled as a Nubian vassal king. The local kings of Lower Egypt—especially Tefnakht—were essentially free to do what they wanted without Piye's oversight. It was Shabaka, Piye's successor, who later rectified this unsatisfactory situation by attacking Sais and defeating Tefnakht's successor Bakenranef there, in his second regnal year.
Btw, if you weren't aware, it wasn't the Egyptians that drove out the Nubians. It was the Assyrians!
My bud said Sunnae when we'd discuss Islam. I know it means Sunni but I never really asked why he described himself as Sunnae idk respect I suppose. He's Christian now. Might ask him next time he's on steam
