That's fine, but I think it's encompassing your head a bit too much. Personally, I'd tone it down a bit. You can keep a sort of laid back messy vibe, but maybe update the style a bit. No offence, but it's reminding a bit of coconut head.

It depends what sort of style you want. If you like the picture you posted, you're going to want to clean up the sides and back, while leaving decent length on the top. Still definitely have them go over the top with scissors, even if you want a bit of a messy look up there you want a controlled mess, and should remove those stray bits of hair that spring up and and go in every direction.
