>soulless vs soul

best shithole is my anus

spanish maricon

It's a nice neighbourhood on the left except lack of greenery

It has trees

Doesn't nearly everyone in spain live in blocks of flats? What's all that about? Not like you've not got any room

To be fair the neighborhood to the left is the worst this country has to offer and people still park their cars in the right places, no trash on the street, etc
I really don't think it's that bad

>spain

Yeah

soul

Depends on what do you consider detached. Most Spanish buldings/houses are like this (towns or little cities). I've been living all my life in a detached (chalet) house but it's true that many of them are second residencies or dedicated to tourism/renting

And lots of elders are still living in post Guerra Civil buldings that have been "restored"

>post

I mean that they survived lol

Do you know if theres a reason why people built 'up' historically? I know in the UK gardening is a massive hobby which is a big reason we never really did that, when were all these buildings put up? Most houses here are either victorian or 'post war'

One is a poor neighborhood and the other middle class. Try this one for a Spain

lol

Historically for religion reasons, the closer to the cathedral the better (photo). Also for security and self-defense obv. Many towns in Levante Coastline (Mediterranean) had a castle.

Then Franco's idea of urbanism was really weird: 'pueblos de colonización'. In short, it was to build up very compact towns.

He also introduced 'rationalism architecture', but in a really depressing way, fucking tasteless.

These are the backs of the buildings, that's not the neighborhood, my lil korean friend

And the capture I've attached is 'El Raval', where the immigrants live and sell drugs, full of prostitution. It's a low-class and one of the cheapest in Barcelona. Have a look and don't trashtalk. Middle-class El Raval hahahahahahha

I see, interesting. Lots of the terraced housing you see posted by that ditch spammer was so people could be as close as possible to the factories during the industrial revolution, can see the clear difference between countries there

Lol the br*tfag had to take a screenshot of the building because the streets lije nicer than even his middleclass streets

Look*

*Dutch

Speak of the devil!

>These are the backs of the buildings
Back of buildings don't look this slumlike up here

That is no excuse for not adding greenery...

Your buildings are not 200 years old

????????
You can still maintain 200 year old buildings

lmao. Go check out Visby or Stockholm city. You wont find anything near as decrepit as that pic.

I thought backs of houses weren't part of a neighborhood?
Here, maybe the top counts :^)
I'd say El Raval is pretty middle class compared to this

Continentals cannot compete

Do you know what trees do to pavement and houses if they're this close?

Those trees would be pressing up on the buildings obstructing natural light into several rooms.

We do actually, but that shitty image is not representative. It's probably a southern little town. But there's a contrast on the Spanish exterior/interior facades. That's true.

I miss communists.
They knew how to build a good, pleasant and functional neighborhood.

what is special about that?
