In many "non-white" countries, there's a minority white population that tends to be upper-class, and that's where a lot of the actors and models come from. Like Yas Forums can't stop jerking off over Ana de Armas, a white Cuban, but whites are like 25% of the Cuban population tops. Or Mexican telenovelas, full of white casts even though whites are around 10% of the Mexican population. Look at Bollywood, same thing, light-skinned northern Indians dominate, or whatever you call Chinese movies (Chinkwood?), super light-skinned northern Han Chinese, none of those suspiciously tanned people who might be part Viet.
