tanks in Europe
Tanks in Europe
jets in europe
Why does Spain have so many tanks?
And why does Britain have so few fighters? My first instinct was that maybe Britain emphasizes multi-role planes over dedicated interceptors, but then I saw that the map's definition of fighter includes multirole planes. Though maybe it's because the QE and PoW don't have their jets yet. At 40 planes a piece, it would bring Britain's total at 168, but even that is a bit over half the number France has (with only one carrier carrying 40 planes).
Fucking Russia, Christ. Don't they have more tanks than all of NATO combined?
number of tanks means nothing.
It's early cold war's trash anyways
>the map's definition of fighter includes multirole planes
it doesn't. For Germany and Britain it only counts Eurofighters, while for Poland, France and Russia it counts all types of jets. Germany in total has 140 or so combat aircraft, the UK definitely has over 100 as well.
most of them are outdated models in storage and would be sitting ducks against a capable opponent
tankugal and jetugal are lacking
Based
How do you know it's outdated?
> Why does Britain have so few fighters
We've just retired our of fleet of 400 Tornados. They'll be replaced by the F35 at some point in the distant future.
How does it feel having a worse navy than Spain? Lmfao.
>worse navy than Spain?
Yeah, until their carriers go online. Then they'll have the best navy in Europe by far.
Portugal and Britain have almost the same digits
active T-14 in the Russian army: 20
active T-90 in the Russian army: 350 (200 more in reserve)
rest are outdated T-72 and T-80, most of them in storage and not in active service
Our submarine capeability more than makes up for our memecarriers.
Spain only has 2 active subs iirc, and neither are nuclear. We have 10 active nuclear subs.
>irreland
why
Wow this is embarrassing, only 46 tanks. We should have at least 100
>T-72
>outdated
DELET
>rest are outdated T-72 and T-80, most of them in storage and not in active service
While that's true, T-80 is the same generation as M1 Abrams, and those in active service are upgraded.
T-72s are also upgraded. And T-72s aren't all export models. B version was rather competitive with NATO models in 80s.
And who cares? A tank is better than no tank.
Why the fuck do Europeans know so much about tanks?
what about tanks per capita?
?
And what about jets per capita?
I thought /k/ was bad but Americans on Yas Forums when it comes to military and firearms they are pig ignorant
tanks per 100k people
why does poland have so many tanks?
Your IMPLIED submarine capability. Submarine service is easily among the most "shady" arms of modern armed forces. No one reveals their actual capability and huge efforts are made to hide the information.
I have no idea why do British always imply Astutes are something insane. They are probably great boats but you don't exactly know how American or Russian or even Chinese boats perform. And no, "we could track them from 50 miles" meme anecdotes aren't actual evidence.
Naval warfare is historically full of misconceptions.
I'm going to guess because they're the biggest and richest power in Eastern Europe, ie. the biggest and richest power that actually risks a land war with Russia.
What the fuck is wrong with Greeks?
That is actually bullshit we have like 50 or 60 functional tanks. Functional in the sense the autoloader is reliable enough to actually shoot the cannon on the thing.
Eastern Bloc legacy
they're scared of Turkey
Aren't Soviet autoloaders incredibly reliable?
stronk
Even presuming that, with the information we have what reason do we have to believe Spain's submarines are something even remotely close to what Britain could field? Or that Spain has sufficient ASW capabilities to counter Britain? The only downside Britain has in this very moment is that they currently don't field an operational carrier, but in every other field the British navy is superior. Even then, the Juan Carlos I carries only 25 combat planes which is very small by carrier standards. Both of the QE carriers can carry 40 jets.
The idea that the Spanish navy is better is questionable currently and laughable once the QE is fully operational.
we border arabs
i wonder what the number for serbia was prior to 2003 when nato servants melted thousands of tanks.
Oh, cut this shit, please. Russian elites have no intention of fighting against countries of their second citizenship. You and poolacks are shizo retards.
>/k/
Get off my board nazi
show me your arsenal.
It's a machine. No machine is fully reliable after a time. Recently they renovated a batch of 10 tanks in a local factory, like disassembled them completely, down to the last bolt, and assembled them again. I saw a video of the first test, they were firing the cannot by using a broomhandle from the outside.
Bulgaria do too and they look weak from those two pics, it's like they don't care at all
Plus Greeks are supposedly poor now???
I believe Spanish subs were a catastrophe when built (or was it previous class?), but in any case those are diesel boats, not nuclear.
I wouldn't say RN is inferior to Spanish Navy, I was just commenting how Brits often invoke some unsourced superiority.
