Yeah I was in grade 1 ( born 1995). I was coming home for lunch and wanted to watch my tv shows but couldn't because my mom had it set to the news watching the 9/11 coverage, while I remember it happening I remember not really understanding what was going on. One of the most confidential things that I remember is that we had an Iraqi kid starting school in my class just a few days after who couldn't speak any English

Whenever I watched American-made media I used to think 9/11, 9-11 (the convenience store) and 911 (the emergency services number) all referred to the same thing. Why are Americans so unimaginative when it comes to numbers?

I still remember it somewhat. I was asleep when the first tower got hit and then I woke up and saw the second one get hit live. My history teacher went full damage control and we read about Islam and the Middle East. I'm surprised he managed to be such a bleeding heart when even the most liberal hippies were bloodthirsty at the time.
