I'm pretty sure they dislike all the students and laborers going there. I've seen nips complaining about all konbini cashier type jobes taken by nepalese 'students' ( who, presumably, are more interested in money than an education ) and about certain places being 'little Nepal'.

I'm pretty sure it's not entirely unwarranted. The hardworking ones go to middle east or some place like that where they slave away to send home money. Japan, not too sure.

I can't say for the average Japanese person, but as a Japanese diaspora I don't have any problems with foreigners working and living in Japan, because I would say most Japanese people, including myself, are not racist. Negroes do not count, as they are not human.

Although I tend to distrust certain ethnicities like the Chinese, I still tolerate them because they really don't have a genetic predisposition to be violent, destructive, and aggressive like Negroes. Yes, it may be easy to blame an entire ethnic group for something, which in this case for the Chinese is the corona virus, but I've met many Chinese-Americans that were pleasant to be with. I've yet to find a Negro that I have actually enjoyed being in my company.
