What has Croatia given to the world?
for me the steak with truffles please
Necktie, torpedo, pen for example
the bane of my existence, also known as ties
idk about my love for Croatia but you sure seem to love Slovenia seeing how half of your country lives here and speaks your native language on the street, LOUDLY.
Yes, very much so, my mom is from Dalmacia
Those are Serbs and Bosniaks. Not many Croats in Sloveni
>torpedo,
A prototype self-propelled torpedo was created by a commission placed by Giovanni Luppis, an Austro-Hungarian naval officer from Fiume
Ivan Vukić
but nobody knows that.
Most Croats near the border work in Slovenia. You are too poor for Croats to permanently move there and send money home like they do in Germany since Croatia is more expensive than any other east European country after Slovenia.
No they don’t
>Austro-Hungarian naval officer from Fiume
You surely mean Farkas János
ok maybe I shouldn't have said most but a large part of them work in Slovenia
i love the yellow parts of croatia
electricity
Chocolate with rice
>mfw I see a Croatian
Basiert. Austrian Alps and the Croatian Cost are the most beautiful in the world.
I've seen the Kajkavian parts of Croatia called 'Alpine Croatia' in Croatian media. And it makes sense somewhat what with the polka and Austrian food. Though as all the Kajkavian parts are either wine-growing regions or very close to the coast, there is no strong beer culture there like there is in central Slovenia where the climate is too harsh to produce good wines.
Yeah, all these areas resemble each other, which makes sense as they were in one state for centuries. Also the preferred drink in Zagorje is gemišt (I believe its called brizganec in Slovene), which is sort of halfway between wine and beer.
>Also the preferred drink in Zagorje is gemišt (I believe its called brizganec in Slovene)
officially, but in reality it's called špricer
why are people in balkan so amible?
i was shocked when i was travelling ex-yu countries cuz i was expecting they're as cold as their big slavic brother aka russian
lol I guess gemišt is croatian spelling for gemischt which literally means mixed
Well, the drink is wine and sparkling water, mixed. So I guess it's a good name. Do austrians have this drink also?
yeah we call it 'spritzer'
And for time people informally say cajt.
When we're done with work we say fajrunt.
A drill is a bormašina.
Croatian has about 3000 German loanwords.
Just as Hungarians, we don't call it Vienna, but Beč. However, Hungarians took our words for the seven days of the week.
azithromycin.
>And for time people informally say cajt.
yep, all the time
>When we're done with work we say fajrunt.
we say fertik (all done). I've never heard this term of yours before.
>A drill is a bormašina.
yes
>Just as Hungarians, we don't call it Vienna, but Beč.
We call it Dunaj (locative: na Dunaju).
Do not trust Bosnian scum who claim to be Croatian. There is no such thing as Bosnian Croats.
The only real Croats are from northern, northwestern and western Croatia including islands.
