Pic related--I took it in Himachal Pradesh in 2017.

Yes, I think Indians are funny and smart

I haven't even visited my parents 16 times in the past eight years.

Why is it your favorite country? Could you explain us

Do you have a bad relationship with your parents, user?

Here's another pic from Himachal Pradesh.

Hard to say, user. I actually didn't like India much the first time I visited. But it grew on me the second time around, in large part because I kept meeting interesting people. Some had good intentions, others didn't. Over time, you learn to spot who's after your money and who isn't. And in India, most people genuinely do want foreigners to enjoy their country and go home with good stories--the scams and cons are concentrated in a small handful of areas.

That aside, India is incredibly diverse. It's poor and messy and polluted, yeah, but it's essentially a collection of countries within one. Something to do and see and experience no matter what you're into. And, IMO and IME, it's one of the easiest countries to meet local people.

I've been to about 50 other countries, too. I think with India, I've spent enough time to genuinely feel like it's a home away from home (albeit one where I am incessantly stared at). It's got its good, it's got its bad, and I appreciate it regardless.

Given, I'd probably feel differently if I was a woman, but I'm not.

Based, americanon. Post some of your experiences on 8kun /india/ too.

Really can't explain concisely. Something about India just clicks with me. I think, by and large, I just identify with India's social culture--in regards to how friends interact, strangers treat one another, what potential dates and relationships expect. There's a lot of interpersonal loyalty and expectation and drama. Compared to the United States, especially, India's a much more lively place.

Never even been there, senpai. What is it?
