Even when you want to do the right thing in the USA, you are punished.
I hate my life right now
Be thankful; for every student in the US there are 1000 indian kids that wold to kill for an US education
I'm 33 and have only ever worked unskilled labor. Chinkflu lockdown has got me reassessing life and thinking I should go to school for something but I'm really lost, I don't know what I could realistically do.
You could analyze data! You could be a copy writer. You program PLCs for factories.

Is it true that American community college is on the level of high school in developed countries?
Fett Henk
No seriously, explain the structure of the American school system to me. When Americans talk about Algebra 101, is that a college class? How can they teach HTML/CSS in a community college when it's something anyone could pick up in a few hours with some instruction?
It is true.
:( kill me
>i suffer in a first world cunt
not this meme again
>when it's something anyone could pick up in a few hours with some instruction
You're overestimating the average person's capabilities
That's just in movies, retard.
Suffering is relative, therefore it happens everywhere.
user, it’s just a small setback we are all facing.
Community college is comfy af and the best way to go when it comes to going to college on a budget. I’m sure you will enjoy your first semester
you would suffer more in Ukraine
but you probably still suffer because I'm on the same spot as you (assuming you're OP)
Calm down, fat pig.
ah-bloo-bloo
Yeah but fat American burgers must suffer a lot considering the high suicide rate lol
It depends, they usually offer courses similar to the first 2 years of university but many offer classes for anyone to build skills like just learning a language
>broke as fuck for 7 months
>desperately looking for work
>coronavirus happens
>have a job now
>free trumpbux
things are looking up finally
Nice user
user you should have sent a follow up email
I'm wondering if I can just register for the good classes anyway and ignore the prerequisites and if they do something, say something about COVID and hope that they let me stay. I really dont want to waste months on these useless classes.
>How can they teach HTML/CSS in a community college when it's something anyone could pick up in a few hours with some instruction?
How can they provide instruction on something anyone could learn if instruction was provided? Wow, weird! That makes no snse at all!
Where r u from?
Wishful thinking I don’t think it will work, public colleges are by the book and you have to check the right boxes
>Even when you want to do the right thing in the USA, you are punished.
Yikes. It sounds to me like you have lots of opportunities. Certainly better than the avast majority of people ever to have lived. Do the best you can do with the situation at hand
The only thing I've learned in my 23 years of life is English, and I've no idea what I want to do with it. I'm actually considering becoming a teacher, which is something I've always wanted to do, but I don't want to be a low wage cuck my whole life bros, I really don't.
you could get in with fish and game. i stood behind this 50+ fat fish and game guy at the pharmacy the other week and the guy looked like he'd been happy for the past couple decades.
Lol. Your police don't even shoot toddlers and women, jealous much?
Do what you want to do. I'm a carpenter and I make shit money, but I really like my work. It doesn't even feel like working. Having a job you hate will eat you up in the end
