Are German cars overrated?
Are German cars overrated?
Yes
No.
It depends on the model.
Yes, they have turned their backs on their roots and are just carbon copies of every other shit American and Japanese car. I would argue though that Porsche is one of the few remaining car companies to still hold the driving experience in high regard.
all of these brands are driven by top-tier wankers in the UK.
If someone cuts you off, or is up your ass, you can bet it's a BMW, mercedes, audi or VW golf
Yes, French cars are superior.
To comical levels
BMWs are shitters. The rest are good.
all modern day cars look the same only differences are logo and is that one has ass warm and other doesn't
No, BMW is best car
Mercedes is second best
In the Netherlands Audi, BMW and Mercedes are driven by rich teen youtubers, moroccans, turks and shitty rappers.
Audis are decent.
t. Golf owner.
French and Italian cars: soul
G*rman cars: soulless
Audi is basically VW.
That's the point...
For me it's Skoda (Volkswagen)
Same in New York as well as Indians, chinks, and Jews. Basically all shitskins drive these cars even when their houses are falling apart
Price increase doesn't go on par with quality.
Friend of mine had a A3 1.8T and it was a pretty nice car.
I have a MK4 but the interior quality was completely different.
What about German/European motorcycles? Apart from Vespa I never hear anything about them.
Porsche has the highest reputation in America out of all car brands.
It really does imho. Even the difference between a Seat Ibiza, a Skoda Fabia and a VW Polo is huge.
I drive an audi
they make it so hard to do repairs yourself
even changing the oil is hard
No
only people who say this are seething poorfags
Porsches are cool because they're supercars that you can actually trash and they'll still run.
It's pretty common seeing on trackdays the fags in their Ferraris and Lambos do 5 laps and then stop because they're afraid of cooking the tires or break anything.
Meanwhile the guys in the 911's/Caymans are just burning tires and making 10 laps a session.
German car is synonym for quality here.
>"Dog and car must be German" is the saying here.
Depends on the era.
B4 and prior are piss easy to work on.
>I have a MK4 but the interior quality was completely different.
You mean MK3 because MK4 was supposed to be revealed this year.
*Porsh
I'm talking about my Golf friend.
its a 2011 a4
Oof, yeah welll..... bummer.
Yes, I'd never fund geyropean economy, bought Japanese instead
Only interior gets better and some options in basic configuration. You also have different engine options, gearbox etc.
tl:dr For same equipment you will pay way more because one brand is more exclusive than the other.
It always felt that first A3 was smaller inside than Golf 4, dunno why.
My first car was a BMW E36. It was nice, but I was young and dumb so I straight piped it and pretended I was a rally driver.
Flipped it 5-6 times into a field and nearly died.
Second car was a 1999 Golf GTI. It was nice as well, had a massive stereo in that car.
It was stolen and burned by some teens..
Now I drive a Volvo 940. Stock. It's good enough.
Isnat the A4-Golf used the same platform while the A3 was just a shortened one?
Would be surprised if that's the case.
