Dresden and Berlin are the worst kind of gutter trash shitholes. You don't wanna live or be there.

Source: been there

the one's in ruins

Offenbach because that's where Haftbefehl is from

I don't know

I'd swap if for Gdańsk and Wrocław anytime desu. Fair trade, since Kraków's economy might be as big as them both

For me, it's Bielefeld

Danzig

hättest viel zum grabbeln ;)

That's because the Poles intentionally rebuilt it in a Dutch style. They refused to rebuild German architecture.

Mecklenburg, I like how it sounds like Japanese light novel name

Germany too scared to allow Google Streetview because it will expose that Germany is not really first world.

Königsberg war wunderbar

Prag

Hamburg felt very first world to me.
I live in Rome and when I first arrived in Hamburg for my erasmus semester I seriously thought "damn... Italy really is third world..."

Berlin is a shithole though

München was wonderful to visit.
Berlin was where I lived for 2 months, I enjoyed it but I could see it getting old very quickly. The surrounding areas were very nice to visit.

Which one of these is the comfiest place to go to on Erasmus? (studying German philology) I was thinking Greifswald but don't know much about the other places

Flensburg and Minga.

true dat

Spasten, denkt an die Quarantäne

Depends on what youre looking for.

I studied abroad in Marburg, pretty comfy

Freiburg is also top comfy

Kiel is just ok - Lübeck is much better and very close to Hamburg also.

Anywhere in Berlin is full of Turks, manbum baristas and pink haired lesbian girls - do not like

Nürnberg - good if you're living in the Northern areas, not so much in the South part of the city (good luck if you need to use public transportation)

>Frankfurt
kek

I really really enjoyed Koln. the Drachenburg castle village was incredibly earie in a weird but good way. Me and my friends just got lost in that just dead town with only 80+ year old people living in. Its hard to explain but it was surreal.

Mainz, on the beautiful Rhine

user you are a master logician

I've been to Mainz

I don't understand this German obsession with Gdańsk/Danzig. It was never an important city for German culture or history. The only famous person born there was Fahrenheit but he was Dutch. When Gdańsk belonged to Germany between 1793-1920, it was a mediocre, second-tier city dwarfed by nearby Koenigsberg, it never had economic, cultural or historical significance for the German nation or state, it can't be even compared to aforementioned Koenigsberg, Breslau or Strassburg. But it seems like Germans miss Danzig the most for some reason. I never could understand it. Danzig was as German as Riga was but I don't see Germans thinking about Riga so much.

Rome is a lot prettier than Hamburg though
Sunshine, beautiful buildings everywhere, friendly Italians>Dour northern Germans, rain, horrible post 1950s architecture and depressing surrounding countryside

Yes, but Hamburg felt like it was 20 years ahead of us. No kidding.

it was clearly a bait intended to get you to write a long-ass autistic reply like you did just now
