Maybe true, but the opposite happened 100 years ago ie a lot of fenno-Swedes switched to Finnish surnames. Swedes dominated the cities and Towns in Finland, it wasn't until Russian rape and 20th Century mongolization that cities became Finnish speaking.

Yes, the time when Russia succesfully raped Finland and seperated it from Sweden thus strenghtening its own position on the Baltics by good old divide and conquer strategy. Finnish nationalism is about as logical as eating poop from a historical perspective, Finland have Always been a part of Sweden, and should be so still today, the mongolization program should be reversed.
